Stange markings on tips of leaves

Hi,
I've got a recent problem with one of my plants. She was looking pretty good the last few days but when I checked in today I noticed a couple things that looked questionable. The main thing is that there are discolored marks on the tips of the leaves. They're in a pattern - it's like a series of straight lines that align with the grooves in the leaves. It looks as though the top layer had been eaten off somehow. I'm uploading a picture for clarification. I also uploaded two other pictures showing that the stem is purple and also that one of the leaves is curled up. I'm thinking the stem and curled leaf could be signs of deficiency, but I just have no clue about the markings on the tips of the leaves.

Here's the setup:
4x4x7 agromax tent
600 watt MH on 24 hour light schedule; about 15 in above canopy
8 in 720 cfm activator fan
15 plants in soil, mix of ffof, ffhappy frog, and perlite
nutes: lucas formula GH at 1/4 strength with 1.25 mL CalMag per gal using RO water with ph of 6.6

Any input would be great. Thanks guys!

if it were me, i would try letting the soil dry out a bit. over watering can cause problems and is often overlooked. in my opinion this should be tried before adding or removing nutes that way you dont cause more problems instead of resolving the problem.

It's definitely not mites. I've been keeping an eye out for them and doing a lot of preventative neem oil spraying... like once a week. I'm not sure that it's overwatering either since I've been waiting three to four days between each watering. 3 gal pots.

The leaf thats all rolled up in the last pic, under your nail, looks like neem damage to me.
Are you using Safer brand? I hate their neem and the 3-1!
How long do you wait before putting them under the light again?
I would chill out on the neem and the cal mag(unless you notice a deficiency)
Another problem I notice is that your plants are deep inside the bucket and not getting any airflow. This can become a major problem with NEEM
Give them some rest if possible. The only reason I can see to run 24hrs is if you dont have complete control over your environment when the lights are off.
14" is a little close, especially without any air flow at the bottom of your plants. The soil is probably baking.
A 600W for veg is a little overkill too. You really want to work on building a root system before the plants get worked too hard.
I cant afford to throw that much power at my veggies so I run t8's to save on power. I have T5's here too for later stages of veg.

1.) kinda seems like something i've seen after using Azamax so +1 for Neem.

2.) some of these kinda look like radula damage from a snail / slug. seems unlikely though.

3.) tent? offgas-ing?

Yeah, the reason I've been leaving the lights on for 24 hrs is that the temperature drops to 62 F during the nighttime and if I leave them on they stay at a constant 75 F. But fuck I just neemed them tonight since I saw a gnat and a bug. I also doubled the cal-mag before reading your suggestion, so we'll have to see. I've heard that you should use cal-mag if you're using R/O? I'm not sure what brand of neem I'm using but it I'll post a pic of it. After applying the neem I leave the lights off for 6 hours.

Have you used this nutrient soil recipe before? Looks over fertilized a small bit to me. Honestly they will probably grow just fine looking like that the whole way. When the leaves start curling/pointing down that's most likely from over fertilizing.

I understand that many here will say your setup will work, or that they use similar things you're using and have simple easy success. Your soil and fertilizer setup seems like guaranteed problems to me. No real way to know what you're feeding plants when using pre charged soil mix. Feed less, and just deal with the highs and lows of feeding the plants at a unknown rate. Honestly don't go crazy feeding the plants, and you'll have a fine harvest. Photos you showed plants are fine.

Best way in my opinion to fix this. Get a soil/mix with no pre charged fertilizers. None, organic or chemical, no nutrients in the mix! (Pro-Mix or Sunshine Mix) Then you can fertilize and get a real idea of why, how much, fertilizer is affecting your plants.

Neem has also made my plants look funny. I only used in veg, had no problems later on from the stunting. The funny looking plants grew up just fine. Plants can take a beat down; honestly, and still make good buds.

The dynagro instructions say that the plants can be hit as often as twice per month.
You are clogging the stomata and preventing proper transpiration.
Not sure if it can be washed off.
Id back the light up and probably clear out the stuff under the buckets and bury the stem will more dirt.
Give the plants a little longer to grow out of the buckets
Easy on the calmag, either way... I dont see any cal or mag issues

heatherlonglee, I plan on using just the pro-mix or the sunshine mix for my next twenty. This is my first grow and I didn't really understand how all this fert stuff works but it's all kinda starting to make sense now. I feel like with the non-nute soil I get to control everything about my plants feeding wise... no unknown variables other than climate which I can control pretty easily.
Coconutz, I don't think that I'm going to be able to wash the neem off since it's oil, unless I wanted to hand wash every leaf with dish soap and I don't think that would be good. I'll lay off from now on now that I know that it is supposed to be every two weeks. Also, I'll lay off on the cal-mag unless I see any deficiencies.

oz per gal dish soap to water in an electric paint sprayer will clean them. def looks like neem burn/over use. I wash between applications. rinse the soap off with warm water afterward.

You are also going to want an emulsifier like dynagro protekt silica with that neem oil.
They actually recommend using something like dr bronners peppermint dishsoap on top of that as a spreader in their instructions.
I prefer drenching with azamax, but I also like triple action neem dunks. Its the only neem I havent fucked up with yet. It doesnt require an emulsifier or spreader like dyna
I actually rinse the leaves a few hours after I dunk with neem because that shit scares me

Tell me ab it, burned more ladies with good ol el nat-ter-al neem than anything.

so protekt silica and dr bronners peppermint dishsoap? I make sure that the neem evaporates for at least five hours before the lights turn on again so I don't think that neem would be an issue...

you need an emulsifier and spreader with dynagro neem oil.
Read the label that came with it. Its all in there.
Also make sure to always mix it up while youre using it.

I use a dish soap to emulsify it, which should be the same as dr. soap that you recommended. If I didn't the neem wouldn't work because it would just stay separated as an oil at the top.

looks like issues i get with newly transplanted clones in rich soil.i dont know if its a water logged issue or a over nute or some combo but it occasionally happens to me too. try letting it dry out. no nutes and then feed light.
