I kind of think there MIGHT be someone who can "witch" for water but I haven't had much luck. Just had a guy out to my place that is renowned for his water witching ability. He could supposedly tell how deep, how much GPM and what spot. Cost me $4000 for a dry hole.

Could you enlighten us as to how much of the 4k was for the witching? That was my next question.

My well drilling guy literally laughed out loud when I told him we had a dowser identify some locations. He was a friend of the land owner so he was supposedly 'hooking us up' for 600 for the dowsing, well guy quoted 8000 for the well and we decided to just truck water in, cheaper in short term, plus we know we had water vs dry hole.

Yeah, the witcher fee was $250. Around here a dry hole is $18.00 per foot and a cased hole is $ 20.00. At least in Vegas you can look at all the hot babes while losing money!

No, they have to fill it back in before they leave according to law. 8" diameter hole for 6" casing
