I would assume an obese beta male effeminate prison guard taking on the name, persona and identity of a world-renowned hardened drug dealer would have rank pretty highly.
So Galileo was chillin and saw some dude with a toy that he called the spy glass or someshit. He had two lenses attached to a tube and you could see across a field or whatever. The guy was on his way to try and sell it in town.
Galileo immediately thought about selling the idea to the military and began his own design that he sold right away.
While he was playing with his new toy the first thing he did was point it towards the sky. Where the naked eye could only see a couple of stars he could see 100's.
I think Saturn was the first planet he spotted and began taking notes and discovered it had a cycle and figured that it must revolve around the sun.
That moment almost ended his life as he was tried by the inquisitions and sentenced to house arrest.
It wasnt until about 1999 that the catholic church apologized for being wrong about that one...
They literally attempted to hold science back until the 21st centruy.

And Jobs ripped off Xerox to get it started. Switch "improved and popularized" for "ripped off" in both cases for a more positive take on what happened.

This song was remixed to remove (most) of the samples listed above (and, curiously, Miguel's freestyle) and was released on the Second Hand Smoke compilation.
- The answering machine message at the beginning is from Brad's girlfriend at the time, Eileen. Eileen also makes a personal appearance on the once rare Sublime demo track, Slow Ride (now easily found on Second Hand Smoke) where she says, "...get a clue babe, there's nothin' to talk about". She was also mentioned in a rare studio freestyle called, Eireen, available on the bootleg The Black Album II.
- The song was going to be about Bud getting out of rehab when he left a message on Brads answering machine "jacked up on Jesus", but Brad lost the message, but said that song was gonna be way better!
Sublime also used Zeppelins "No Quarter" on "Smoke Two Joints.
Its actually a Toyes cover song, but Sublime also uses parts of Shinehead - Good Love Tonight, which is actually a whitney houstong song, but on the Darker Shade Of Black Riddim

Muddy waters used to open for zep when they first started playing, so theres no doubt they heard muddy waters play before stairway to heaven
they used a bunch of his stuff way before they did stairway. some of the best tunes on zeppelin 2 were things that you would find on muddy waters' greatest hits these days.
no doubt about the fact that page and plant did great things with muddy's songs but they could have given him some props for the inspiration. it didn't hurt clapton to tell people who robert johnson was

Just about every network TV show are ripoffs/copies, or have episodes that are copies of older shows from the 50s, 60,s 70s.......Nothing new under the sun. ABC & NBC have alternate channels that show nothing but old shows, and when you watch them, you realize how much of current content is copied. When one show becomes a hit, here come several copycat shows on the other networks. Very little creativity in Hollywood, and the music business? Everything's a ripoff, as it's all been done before. Virtually impossible to come up with rock music that is not heavily "influenced" by earlier material.
