The system I choose was Aeros Master IV, from UK based Plant!T. Cost: 120 € (156 $). It's a system with 4 containers + 1 reservoir. Total capacity: 75 litre. But putting 53 L the SN already touches the baskets, sooooo...
This is a diagram of how it works:
The grow room usable space is 2,5 x 2,2 meters and 3 meter in height.
The growing method will be SCROG. I'm making a DIY net that you'll see soon...
The medium I will use is clay pebbles. I use Root!T sponges to put my clones in, and I get very good results I think. The pebbles will surround the sponge, also under it.
Lighting.
165W LED + 2x42W CFL for growing.
165W LED + 600w HPS for blooming.
Ventilation and air renovation: as a provisional measure, I'm using a 187 m3/h VENTS for extraction. My plan is getting a 560 m3/h RVK with thermostat as soon as I can, and then use the VENTS for intraction. Odor control: filter Mountain Air that I will have to change for a bigger one, but not still (no odor to care about). A swinging wall fan will move the air in the room.
I have a little homemade closet for my motherplants. I used an old desk, installed a Sunon fan as extractor and made some "plastic walls", one of them is the door, that is velcro-removable. The light in there are two double fluo "donuts". Each lamp has two donuts, one is 22w and the other one is 32w (4200ºK). That's 108w for maternity zone.
Strains in mothers closet: Bubblegum, Candy Kush, Psicodelicia, Great White Shark, Blue Dream, Ice Cool and G13 Haze.
Inside the cloner you can see the 4 girls that will go first into the hydro system. You have to continue reading to know who are my chosen 4. Which ones would you choose?
Nuts by GHE: Flora Duo (A Growth + B Bloom) + Bio Roots + Mineral Magic. I will use the charts at first, but always using common sense and avoiding overfeeding as much as I can. Not that mistake again. I made it in soil in my first attempt.
My first idea was getting the Bio Filtre by GH + Subculture to avoid algae and shit. But I changed my mind... well, I took the cheap way. Next posts will explain everything.
