Any quality uniform hybrid seed strains?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for seed strains.

I'm looking for strains that ideally are quite uniform in traits from one seed to another, decent or better yield, good quality bud, vigorous, NOT indica dominant, and not hermie prone.

I've found past forum threads recommending good uniform strains but they mostly give indica dominant recommendations like Northern Lights. For taller stretchier hybrids, all I can think of is Skunk #1.

I love sativa dominant hybrid strains in general (well, pure sativa is great but yield matters) but don't know what to get. All of my favorite sativa dominant plants I've grown out in the past either had hermie problems or I lost the clones!

Well, Dutch Passions Durban is landrace pure sativa and yes, every plant is very similar and its quite good smoke. Dont get sensi's because its been hybridized and does indeed have differnt pheno's.

FLO from DP is a wonderful plant with a really nice buzz and is very sativa is effect and most plants the same. 3/4 are a slender pyrimid that doest like to be topped and doesnt respond weel. ITs similar to chronic and sould come with a warning not to top like chronic but it doesnt. There is a branchy pheno/ 1 in 4 plants that will top but is fal less impressive in potency and taste

why are you looking just for "hybrids"?
I think you will be better looking for short flowering time sativas that yield like indicas...

Original Delicatessen, ACE, Cannabiogen and Tropical Seeds all of them has short-flowering-time sativas with great yields

from Delicatessen: Lilly or Her Majestic
from ACE: Bangi Haze, Tikal or Congo
from CBG: Destroyer, PamanaxDC, Nepaljam x Oaxaca
from Tropical: Bisho Purple, Afrokush, Nepal Highland

I have always wanted to grow this classics from MrNice: NL5xHaze, G13xHaze, Mango Haze

What is your maximum flowering period? Depending on that we could recommend a few renowned strains but let's face it, less than 10 weeks won't ever be "sativa" dominant im my opinion. You have many of this stuff you are looking for at Delicatessen and Cannabiogen.

P.S: by the way, all dutch sourced Durban Poison (Nirvana, Sensi, Dutch Passion, etc) are hybridised with skunk. Real south african strains won't finish sooner than 14 weeks. I recommend Ciskei, Swazi Red or the recently released Cape Town for those who want to smoke real south african bud.

Thank you for the replies, moondawg, rik78, Mustafunk. Also thank you Don Dump for the C99 mention. A lot of interesting strains to read about now.

Is Flo originally by DJ Short? Or did DP and DJ previously to work together?

Pure sativa is great if it yields well! (by yield I mean actual harvest weight per a given amount of time... if something takes 50% longer to yield the same amount then it's 33% less yield over time) My patients are also picky about airy buds (I don't know why)

Mr Nice has some great genetics but I've had too many hermie issues with their stuff so I'm not sure to recommend them. Which also made me perhaps wrongly associate sativas with generally being more hermie prone. I'll definitely check out the strains you mention, rik. Thank you!

Mustafunk, I don't know... it's more about the amount of harvest per year rather than maximum flowering period. If there's a sativa that can yield close to 2lbs per light in 14 weeks then I'd love to grow it out.

In my circumstance, veg is a lot more of an issue than flowering. I really appreciate a plant that can grow a huge amount during the stretch. Indicas are more frustrating in that regard... to me less veg time to get the same yield is great.

check Ciskey from Topical too, just 53 days flowering time. nice yieler and sativa ;)

I will say Kosher Kush and og18 are some good seeds to crack and get good results from growing them all out.

Every female from the kosher was a decent yielder and >20%

theoretically all f1's are supposed to be uniform but the closer the 2 parents are in genealogy the weaker the f1hybrid is. If you took Mexican landrace and Siberian landrace it would be a strong f1. Siberian and Chinese would be weaker theoretically

also ak47 and white Russian from serious are worth mentioning

Recently harvested Yumbolt, which has a complex sativa leaning high. Sweet/ piney/ earthy flavor, nice earthy aftertaste like old time Mexican. Peppery smell, again like old time Mexican. 100% old school. It's described as Afghani, which it clearly is to some degree, but there's def Mex in there, along with nobody knows what. I have the impression that it's a relatively true breeding variety rather than an unstable F1.

Sativa-ish christmas tree branching with low stretch, only 50-75%. Fairly broad leaves. Nice top & side buds that shrink a lot when dried. 4 out of five were near identical at 42", one shorter. Odd downward sloping bud leaflets, not quite like shingles on a steep roof. Uniform high potency.

With 60 days veg & 70 flower, yield was ~60 grams of dried bud per plant. I did have some issues, so yields certainly could have been improved.

Even if yields weren't great, it was well worth the effort as headstash, which is all I do, anyway.

My modern growing experience is quite shallow, so I'm just growing my way through a lot of catching up. Flowering now are royal flush & freebie blueberry headband. The 2 BBHB are radically different from each other, but the RF is fairly uniform, with only 1 of 4 a little taller. All are vigorous, bushy, broad leaved in veg, but it'll be a few months before I know about the smoke.

if you're willing to go fem, Super Lemon Haze from GHS has been good to me. My keeper goes to 11w, but some phenos are done sooner. I chose for the most haze out of the pack. Good yield, good smell, good bag appeal, and very easy to trim. You know "all bud" :)

Need to take veg time into account to really compare indica to sativa. 14 week flowering sativa u can prob go 12 12 much sooner to get bigger plants in the end. I say its the law of same shit. Thats 14 weeks of 12 12 compared to 1 month 18 6 or whatever, then 2months 12 12. Sativa might even finish bigger with a 1 week veg. Same shit law. U get the drift.... im sure
