Harvest Window closing? 83 days after the switch...

... I switched the flip 83 days ago. The plants started to spit pistils 68 - 70 days ago. These are 8 plants, 7 strains grown in Coco:

2 Headbands, OG 18, Skywalker OG, Trainwreck, Fruity Chronic Juice, Green Crack and Lost Coast OG.

I was planning to let them go 10 more days to allow enough time for a proper flush. But the past few days the buds havent grown much and are giving me that done look. I picked up my microscope and noticed a lot of cloudy trics, in some areas there are also a lot of clear trics.

A few buds of the Fruity Chronic Juice and Trainwreck appear to have 25% to 30% amber in certain spots.

Most buds however don't have more than 10% amber... the . problem is i'm not even sure because i'm a bit colorblind lol

so i hoping someone can check these pictures, hope u can see the trics.. or just base it on the overall look.

What u think, can I let them go 7 - 10 more days without getting the buds over ripe? Or should I harvest asap?

Nice plants.
I start to check for amber when the buds look done.
They get cut down if they look done and I see any amber at all.

U don't see any?

I thought I did but as I said i'm a bit colorblind...

So i suppose there shouldnt be any problem to let them go 10 more days, while i start the flush?

And also, should i flush with pHd water only or still give a weak dose of nutes? Again this is Coco, my first try at coco...

Its hard enough for me to see any when Im looking through my scope...
I cant really tell from the pics...
Plain water is fine at the end.
Ill usually slowly fade my nutes out towards the end so that its not a total shock when they start getting plain water.
During about week 6-7 Ill reduce micro and then start fading out bloom before hitting them with plain water.
As long as you didnt overfeed them you dont need to worry too much about a flush

Hard to tell from those pics but if I had to guess I'd say there is very little amber in those trichs. 7-10 days might make the smoke a little heavier but I wouldn't worry about it.

How many days does it usually take from first signs of amber to about 25% amber?
I have no problems with waiting, I just don't want my buds to degrade.

Good mix of clear cloudy should be good smooke. Flush it and watch for amber. Imo chop asap.

it doesn't have a time table.. honestly its all strain dependent.. heavy indicas will go from cloudy to amber.. much faster then a sativa will..

u just gotta watch them trichs for a few grows until u have it dialed in.. and know how many days they go.. and then run them to that day.. and check a few times before the date to make sure there on schedule. and pull..

if u actually pull your plants down at the right time. u end up with some amazingly strong potency wise.. and smell wise.. and it should swell up nicely.

when u think its done.. if u don't have a scope.. wait at the very least.. an extra week.. sometimes 2 weeks..

with a scope.. I pull depending on strain. but mainly I like almost all cloudy with some amber.. I do not like anything clear..

patience will be rewarded ..

It's totally different for diff strains and growing conditions but on average I would say it takes about a week to go from completely clear trichs to 25% amber.

It also depends on the high you like, early for head and later for body. The days in flower can be influenced quite a bit if you don't have enough light or it's not close enough. They can go much longer than the breeders say without the proper light.
In the pics you posted I didn't see any amber and in some there was still quite a bit of clear trichs.
I recently chopped a Royal Haze that was supposed to be 70 days, I chopped at 105 days. There was very few amber and mostly all cloudy trichs with quite a lot of white pistils still. I couldn't wait any longer.............the high is a nice mix though.
