nice set up man, how come you left so much useable space? also what height are the lights from the plants? looks like a fair distance considering they air coooled.

truth is I had never grown this strain out in a hydro application on flood trays..or this particular phenol of it...I had to sides..one side was literally like 3 feet tall and beasting and the other was only a foot....if I had waited for the right side to catch up to left I was scared of running into light intensity and air movement issues...looking back and realizing they had way less of a stretch than anticipated I probably should have stacked trays fatter or vegged longer....but hindsight is always 20/20

if you put 16kw in the thread title you would get more hits. nice looking room i like the hydroton beds haven't seen that before.

anyways i was wondering why they are so short and spaced out? it seems you could easily double or triple your yield if you did more training or topping, seems to be a lot of un-used space in between the plants. blue dream is supposed to stretch a ton and it looks like they stayed pretty squat.

what is your cooling method for 16kw?

I was thinking the same, id be squeezing them a bit closer together. you could definite pull at least double the amount of bud from those. I love your grow though, nice clean and neat.:)

lol ive answered this before....I have two sides...both sides were filled with a strain ive never grown before...the left side had vegged for two weeks longer...I didn't know how the stretch was gonna play out and was worried id be dealing with light and heat issues...after the flip and shit I realized the plant or phenol I had did not stretch for shit and I should have packed one side thicker....next round ill correct problem...I have 2 36,0000 btu mini splits....hope that helps thanks for the input guys keep posting!!!

they are 15 seer ....honestly bro if you can go with central ac do it..minisplits are like the portable acs of commercial acs..they just aren't efficient...they run on a lot of juice and produce small ammounts of cooling power ...they rate them at 36000 btus of cooling power but idk ya know? the two I have keep my room cool but I also vent through the hoods to keep them cooler...so its up to you..but imo ..id go get an ac from homedepot and not look back

Lived in california for years and never grown blue dream. Just picked up a new undercurrent uc8xl, and because of this thread i went to Bpg and picked up some PCG Blue Dream. Going to give it a whirl in the new hydro system. Good luck with the rest of this grow bro.

looking very good mate! i find it interesting you cut sugars when using bigbudxl as i use it with carboload and had some superb results, although in a soilcoco mix not hydro.

big bud xl seems to work like insulin for a plants shuttling fuel to here is needed. in us its muscles in plants its buds so makes sense to run a carb source with it as it pumps all the extra fuel(sugars/carbs) to the buds and i must say i noticed a considerable boost to frost a bud production, but you plan is obviously working for you mate. i must say im a touch envious lol :)
