Nice to see trichs startin soon. its like the land before time in that tent, some big bitches.
Im pretty happy with the veg time. Seems to be a big improvement over the pure SB on the blues and the DB didnt lose as much as I thought it might with the cross back to pure sb.

Hope your 2nd DB is a girl. She is showing a fine blend of her parents. I can see the ecsd in the vein structure in that one, looks like its stamped on a SB dinosaur leaf.

Gonna be some serious nuggage.

Holy shit, BB is starting to smell absolutely amazing. So sweet and now getting really piney/lemony. Reminds me of a sour drop candy. God its making my mouth water. I cannot wait to try this one.........

Blue Satellite f3 selection criteria notes:

Indica leaner.

Stress Test for intersex resistance.

Extreme frost that piles on the edges in desirable mothers. (easy to find)

Massive trunks.

Smells:

Super sweet can trend almost sickly sweet with nice light chemmy notes and fruity especially berry ish undertones. Cotton candy.

The SB was a soft sweet lime pheno with strong citrus chemmy notes of mingling throughout.
Showed strong astringent sour orange tones in early veg.

She sure looks like a winner so far!

Not really sure what this is. I was wondering if it was a combination of cal/mag, but not sure. Gonna give her some cal/mag next time and see if that helps at all. My nutrient mix has plenty of it though, so I'm thinking it may be something else. It's only on the Blue Bubble and only on 2 or 3 leaves. Not to bad and the plant as a whole looks good. It's only occurring on the outermost leaves of the plants circumference. I always hit some sort of snag around week 3-4 but always make it through :)

DB sure has stretched above th eBB, but I think it's done now.

Oh yeah, I upgraded my vent fan to 400 CFM HydroFarm active air fan. Thing works great, but is a bit of overkill. I ordered a nice variable transformer thing that will slow it down without messing with the waves and wont damage the motor. Going to hook up my hood and tent exhaust with a 6" duct T joint and look for some sort or reducer for the T for air coming from the tent so it doesn't over ventilate. Hopefully this will solve all my temperature issues and I wont have to worry every night about keeping the temp just right with the window open "just so"...

Damn that blue looks like shes turnin into a beast. Great to see trichs pilin up on the edges at this stage, thats what we were looking for! Them upper DB fans look to be thinning out gettin slender with some ecsd influece from the db showin through. Next month should be bad ass!

Alright, so I got the transformer in the mail today much sooner than expected. It works like a charm and I'm very glad I got this particular one. I feel much safer leaving it on, knowing it's not going to burn my house down.

I also got rid of the separate 220 CFM inline duct fan that was attached to the hood. I put in the 6" T joint and now have both the hood and tent venting through the single 400 CFM unit. The best part about this is that the T joint reflects a good amount of light back down onto the plants, making the tent much more visibly brighter. Temperatures are much more under control now, and I can make incredibly minute adjustments to the ventilation with this transformer. I'm really happy with this setup now.

Took some pics with a floro on before the HPS came on but only one came out halfway decent. I'll try again later :\

Oh yeah, the Cal/Mag seems to have helped out a bit with what was happening. It hasnt spread and everythings looking pretty good. Think I'm gonna drop the cal/mag now, gave it to them past 3 water/feeds

I chuckle every time I see these beasts. Just wow. That cornstalk trait from the SB is quite heritable indeed. Looks like we teased her out of her slow ways a bit heh. Your big DB is a SB cornstalk leaner, the one in the back is gonna be that super pin-sol shit you can see the ecsd comin out alot from the deathstar.. Good to see pistils from her man. Thanks again for running these.

No problem man, thanks again for letting me. Much better than dealing with those dispensary seed herms. The critical mass in flower started to herm so I hacked away everything below. Just gonna toss the mom and get rid of it after this flower. It's pretty decent, but herms no matter what. All your genetics are going strong, no herm whatsoever. Now I know it was just the dispensary genetics and not something I was doing to make em herm.
I think I'm gonna trim up the girls a bit now though since theres no herms. Wanted to make sure they would form if there were gonna. They could use the air flow too, pretty bushy down below, hah.

DB got some really cool leaves coming out of the main cola. The fans are like over lapping. Never seen that before but I think it's cool.

Thank you so much man, I really do appreciate the kind words. I've been trying as hard as I can this grow. I still have pretty much infinity to learn, but I'm never gonna stop trying to do better with each grow. It's honestly been very therapeutic for me as well. I got a bunch of crap going on, but my plants give me a place of peace I can work with everyday. Good stuff.

Thanks again man, I'll do my best to not let anyone down!

:thank you: :thank you: :thank you:
