What's wrong with my weed ?

I rolled my first joint (RAW paper and filter tip) today with street weed

I puffed on it a few hours ago while it was unlit to kind of taste it, my tongue and throat started feeling sore/tingly a few seconds later. I can still feel that. I did test it before rolling it to see if it was contaminated and it looked like it was not. It's my first joint and i won't smoke it but i really wonder what's wrong with the weed.

Sounds like chemicals not flushed from it. You can do a water cure...put in mason jar or large container with lid....shake....and set aside (preferably in dark). Drain water daily replenish water, shake, back in the dark....probably 5 days to a week will flush it out residual amendments, nutrients, chemicals....spread buds out to dry.

Had to do that twice; once with mildew and another time...friend jarred up when too wet. Nasty.

Hi guys, thank you for being so kind as to answer my question. Hope you're having a nice weekend.

@tokersmoke: It smells very minty. It's very dry. The thing is i got it on the street. It was my first time buying there. I saw dudes standing, knew why they were standing there like statues for thanks to rumors in the neighborhood. They gave it to me, i paid and left. I wanted it to be as quick as possible because i did not wanna be stopped and frisked. I bit it, used a cd, etc... It did not look contaminated.

Anyway, like you guys said, the weed is most likely not fit for human consumption. I guess the only reason i asked is the fact that i paid 20 euros for that gram. I live in France and do not know anyone who smokes weed, so it's either street weed or street haschich. The hash being smoked in the neighborhood does smell good. The thing is, it's said that most hash pieces you get in France (for 10 or 20 euros i guess) are laced with stuff like excrements, tire, shoe polish, henna, etc. So yeah...

@Midnite Toker: Sometimes, i'm easy to make to chuckle, so thanks lol. You hit the nail on the head without knowing it becausecause i'll literally flush this joint away from me.

it's the bane of newbie smokers worldwide, bottom rung of the ladder of nugs until you make a kind connection. I got no idea what moves you'd make to find one there either. In NY you'd meet a bookie in a bar, place bets a few weeks and then pose the question to be 'steered' in the right direction, maybe treat the bartender there right & he'd do the same thing.

it's an investment in quality & health, plus you'll likely run into some common tavern wenches in the process.......
