Edit: Oh, in the interest of giving credit where it's due. I had the idea to go build modular screens/per container, which is f*cking brilliant. I'm so bright.

Just kidding, it was really bobble's idea. As with most good ideas, it wasn't mine!

So here's the crossroads at which I be.. I have this sizable Nightmare that I could flip in the meantime..

..I'm waiting on everything else to hulk up before I throw 'em in, and who knows in what order that'll be. It'll be at least 30-45 days, I'm thinking, 'til they're adult enough to flip.

SO. Do I flip this big Nightmare, because why not, while everyone else vegges and grows up? Hmm. That'll mean 85+ days of veg on the rest of the crew, though, which may result in ... Hmm.

Since the ND takes 85, and rest everyone else is done in 65-70, do I flip the ND (modular city so's it won't get outta control in the space), give it a head start, and then let the other gals grow up a little, and throw 'em in a few weeks later, so's to basically have 'em finish right around when the ND does?

Or do I suck it up, punt on flowering anything for a couple months, and then just hit the ground running with an equally-ish-sized assortment?

My brain: Don't live here!

Re cut and root the clones, from the clone plants, so they arent so huge with 80+ days veg time. Maybe veg the cuts for 3 weeks, then take another round of clones and toss those?

I would flower the large nightmare by itself, and stick your clones under flours for a few weeks before hitting them with some real light when the ND is close to finishing. Maybe even take clones of the smaller plants and toss the moms... or! Flip the veg tent too and keep clones under flouros in your lung room.

If you feel like the hassle and you want those other plants to veg faster - you can always place them under the bigger lamp during 12/12 and back into veg before lights out.

I finger I'll move this Nightmare into the 20 gal container & it's dirt, build a modular screen and flip this one. I'm thinking I can keep her corralled to 1/4 or 1/3 of the room. In that case, I'll feel a little better about throwing in other plants when the Nightmare is mid-stream. (I threw in the GSC when the Nightmares were about 25 days ahead, and I feel like it got shaded/crowded out/never had a chance)

Anyway. Funny about hulking up veg growth -- I generally rock a 4 bulb/24" T5 in veg. Works just fine, low juice use, and I'm not usually in hurry for to veg. ..BUT, I do have another 400 W ballast that I rarely use..

..well, I fired up the 400 W and got me a brand spankin' new MH bulb, and holy shit! I swear, on day one, everyone sprouted another set of leaves. It's almost like I'm cookin' with gas..

Haha, when bringing out the big guns...expect big results.

I always used an 8bulb t5 on seedlings and when they were in beer cups. Once in 3gallons, I blast em with 400MH and watch em take off. Keepin em under flouros is a good way to slow em down if you are stalling on em. Nothing more spaceshippy then unzipping a 3x3 tent with a 4 or 600 HID burning heavy.

Now, back to the ND...I wanna see you do just a MONSTER SCROG and pull 20+ ozs. I would also love to see the tooth and the gorilla glue done the Hawaiin way.

Yeah, I typically veg in stages. Seedlings, clones, just rooted clones going into beer cups all get fluro...but pre-flower, they go under a 400w to really get their veg on. Makes all the difference in numbers in the end...general root vigor and stem strength / thickness vs the fluros. That's where I REALLY notice a difference...

I generally run lights/plants size-accordingly like y'all have mentioned.. Though I think at some point, convenience took over, and the MH took an extended stay in whatever bin it was packed in..

Cookin' with gas now, that's for sure. I'm thinking another week or so and I'll flip the Nightmare, and just hulk everyone else up in the meantime..

im doing this right now.. my veg room just switched to flower.. my 1 flower room is about to finish up .. so by the end of stretch.. ill harvest the flower room.. move the plants from veg room to the flower room.. move the plants from the lung room into the veg room..

should work nicely honestly..

Got the first mod-screen gimmick built, for the ND. Test run. It's about 17" x 23", .. Seems so .. Small?
