$60 an eighth is insanity and just shows the greed of these guys. Now I understand his "growing your own will kill your quality of life" nonsense rant, lol. He just wants more suckers to buy $60 eighths.

Sorry pal, not me. I'll continue to keep preaching the word and sharing knowledge so that medical users like myself can keep money in their pockets and out of the pockets of money-grubbing commercial growers.

I know that the prices have gone down, but to me, the consumer, that's a great thing. I hope they fall to the point where I won't pay more then a 100$ an ounce for primo stuff.

I'm proud that I'll never expand beyond this? You know why? I'm not greedy......I grow enough for me and mine and that's it. I'd never want to be a commercial grower, the greed most of you have is what is ruining it for everyone. AS far as I'm concerned you guys are an unnecessary evil and victims of your own greed.

You are bang on. Not everyone can pull it off, but most legal medical patients can very easily. I've taught many to grow that thought they couldn't swing it before they were shown how easy and enjoyable it is. I'll keep spreading the word. You're right though, it isn't for everyone. But for people who need this medicine and can't afford the retarded prices these growers and dealers want, it is an extremely achievable and attainable goal to be self-sufficient.

Getting back to the point of this thread, we need to be responsible consumers. We dictate the market, not the mass producers. If more and more people refuse to pay for weed that was blasted through a machine and beat to hell, then the growers would have no option but to start trimming by hand, or lower their prices to compensate. It's just sad to see things become legal and proper practices and quality go to shit in the name of profits. After all, aren't these growers supposed to be providing medicine?

Well, thew wholesale price goes down and down, because you want it so cheap. So we have to cut corners here and there, trimming is one of if not the BIGGEST expense.....

Electricity is dumb expensive and believe it or not, SOIL is as well on a big scale...

Costs add up fast for the commercial producer, and our profits have been cut in half in the last few years. Water and electricity is NOT getting cheaper..

A lot of consumers in here are complaining that they don't want machine trimmed nugs, and for very good reason. When a consumer isn't happy with the product they are being provided, there are 2 options: go elsewhere, or produce said product themselves. I chose option B), others may choose A) due to their circumstances.

I love all the commercial growers defending this practice of using machine trimmers......their answer is they can't afford to hire trimmers, or that it's not practical. The real reason is that they have gotten so big out of greed, that they can no longer do things the proper way and start to cut corners in the name of profits. Shame.

Since when is weed cheap? In the last 5 years prices continue to skyrocket out here while quality decreases. The end consumer is paying significantly more money for crappier product.

Unhappy smokers take notice, THESE are the people who you are making rich by buying their over-priced and under-cared for product. They don't care about you or your condition, only the $$$$.

For any consumers that are fed up with this and are considering breaking the vicious cycle and growing your own, please get in touch. I'd be happy to walk you though what you need to get started affordably and safely.....it's not nearly as hard or complicated or a burden like the fear-mongers in here will have you believe. YOU CAN DO IT!

I'll refer all growers back to the original post...this thread was started by a fed up end consumer, and many other consumers have come in here to agree. We know you are getting greedy and cutting corners and it's BS. Shape up and take notice of what your consumers want, or your greed will get you left behind.
