Thanks for the rep and kind words OldSchool. Sending good vibes your way for the new genetics you're working with. :dance013:

Top notch finish!

I really love how compact your system is. It is minimal and efficient and, most importantly of all, worked like a champ! I'm taking notes.

Are you weighing? I'd love to see the Gram Per Watt on this one.

Cheers!

Thanks 70w! I will be weighing everything and posting the results (hopefully Sunday). I can tell you that I would have done much better with gram per watt if I would have stuck with just one of the better yielding strains in this round. I love variety though, so a bunch of flavors was more important to me than total yield.

The Grand AK was basically worthless and all of it will go in the trim bin. Other than that, I'm happy with the results.

Yo Otis. The Cherry AK didn't finish as strong as I had hoped, but it defnitely looks like great herb. Everything is dry now and in jars. I'll probably burn a nug this weekend to see how it's developing.

The Weigh In

The Weigh In

Everything is fully processed, dried, and now curing. I was surprised by a couple of the strain results. I'll post dry shots this weekend and probably start working on smoke reports next week as I sample some nugs.

(1) Blueberry - 32g
(2) Blue Dream - 49g
(2) Cherry AK - 34g
(2) Grand AK - 5g
(2) Jillybean - 81g
(2) Lilikoi - 15g
Total - 216g

I only included the best buds from each plant in the dry weight. I am more into concentrates lately and wanted to make some oil with as much of the small buds, popcorn, and trim as possible.

I had another 81g of material that got me about 10g of the funkiest honeycomb I have ever dabbed! The mix of all the flavors is amazing. Does anybody do blends of concentrates like winemakers do with wine? I don't know of anybody doing that.

Mmm, the jars are full. Good idea on the concentrate! Flower has a special place in my heart but these waxes and oils and crystals and such are just so good ha that I've been dabbing quite a bit. I worried about my tolerance for a bit but they seem to give me different highs. Wadda u think?
Your concentrate blending idea seems ingenious...

Nice finish! I love having a variety as well. I'm worried about different strains needing different nutes, so, i'm sticking with one strain on the next go.

I've made BHO using shake from many different strains. My friends say they prefer the flavor to other concentrates they've tried.

You could always do the blend post-extraction if you want to really be able to try different combos.

Did you vacuum purge to get the honeycomb?

What's up man! I have noticed that I build up a tolerance to specific strains of concentrates, but I'm back to normal if I switch up strains or even rip a bong hit of flowers instead of dabbing. I've been smoking on this blended honeycomb I made for the last 5 days now without any noticeable difference in potency/tolerance. It tastes soooo good too!

Hey 70w! FWIW... I have used the Lucas formula with good success when running multiple strains together with the same res. Floranova Bloom will take any strain I have worked with all the way through flower at 4-8 mL (about 1-1.5 tsp) per gallon depending on light intensity, etc. They definitely don't come out completely dialed, but it's a nice and easy way to work with multiple strains.

Also, just started making concentrates in the last couple weeks. I vacuum purged the extraction at 115-120F for 30 minutes at 29.9"+ of vacuum. Can't wait to make more!

I've also been thinking more and more about the blending idea. Lots of interesting concepts from winemaking that might be helpful. ;)

Ok, everything is cured and smoking very nicely now. I'm in the middle of moving this week/weekend, so I don't think I'll get around to posting dry shots and smoke reports until next weekend. Sure is nice to have all these flavors to choose from. :dance013:

I am really looking forward to your smoke reports. I was wondering where you picked up these cuttings from? Great work btw.
