Michigan?

there could be three michigans...
everything north of Mt pleasant and everything south and the yoop..

if you want crime, poverty, rippers and rogue cops move down south.
if you want lakes, rivers, salmon, bear, deer and a mind your own business attitude toward meds northern lower michigan is good.
if you wanna hide and never be found, live like a frontiersman and never see a single cop go to the you pee 'eh

i like northern lower with trips to the yoop for fun.

As someone that has been all over michigan, I mostly agree with what has been said.

Just stay the hell north of flynt and grand rapids and you'll be happy. Plenty of lake houses and ski cabins to be had for cheap. Nobody will notice you as an "outsider" in the recreational areas of the state, just an ohioan.

And northern michigan in the summer is fucking sublime. Gonna be on the au sable river fishing and camping in a few weeks. I'm thinking of hitting the u p for some solo backpacking too.

Come winter, uhhhh, get a snow mobile and learn to like icefishing.
Is grand rapids not chill? =-(

Hmm there are rippers everywhere. Even up north sorry. Specially if you are in the grow business. We live around Flint and it works for us and the growers are pretty chill. GR is pretty chill and there are different dispensaries but nothing like in Ann Arbor.

hey yall, just curious what yall think the best regional elite clones are to this area. I see a lot of the national clones have made their way here but wondering what the best of the best regional cuts are.

Anyone know anything about the pine flavored northern lights cut thats in the Ann Arbor area? The small sample I had of it was soooo tasty.

I don't know if it's elite, but if I was in the midwest, I'd be looking for some of the old school bubblegum, discovered and developed in the midwest.

Election 2014. Is there hope for electing a new Governor and Attorney General? How much would that help things? Keeping an eye on that for sure.

Hey Sisu I read that Schauer is anti medical cannabis. I will still likely vote blue across the board but was upset when I read this and not sure how I feel about him, other than he's better than the status quo.

Thanks wingdings, I just assumed he would be all for respecting the wishes of the people of the state. Amazing really. I would think Totten would have to be better than current AG.

Why vote like you have in the past (I assume)? Do a little due dilligence and find the correct canna-date no matter what color he/she is...

Havin ran head on into Mr Shuettees interpretation of our law I can safely say Hitler would be no worse... Ole bill would put us all on a train to fat camp ;(

Hey Paladin, I do research all the candidates I vote for. Not trying to rile anyone up but Republican policies have proven to be detrimental in my opinion. I don't see myself ever voting for a Republican if they continue down this path.

As I’ve traveled across the state and talked with patients, medical professionals and local community leaders, it is clear that the state needs to clarify Michigan’s Medical Marijuana Act to ensure safe access to medical marijuana for registered patients and caregivers. Currently, communities are in limbo as to the legal parameters of provisioning centers. This has caused inconsistent law enforcement and limited safe access for medications, especially non-smokeable forms of medical marijuana.

Two bills are currently pending in the Michigan Senate that take a commonsense approach to address these challenges: HB 4271 and HB 5104. These bills would give local communities the option of whether they wish to license and regulate local provisioning centers, while respecting the values of the individual community. Additionally, this legislation would ensure people suffering from chronic and serious debilitating conditions and diseases have access to non-smokeable forms of medical marijuana to increase their quality of life. I fully support these bills and encourage both the Michigan Senate and the Governor to take action and make these two bills law as soon as possible.
