Thunderbird LP

I saw this on their homepage..

If you are a current LIC producer and want to discuss inventory email: LP@thunderbirdmedical.ca

So does this mean LP can buy from current growers....and resell it...yet we cannot keep our stockpiles after the deadline..

Am I reading this wrong...

In the video on the last pages of the MMPR thread, the PNP CEO stated that they were able to acquire sufficient inventory from other growers to meet the demand.
Nothing different than subcontracting a person out.

Edit: personally I see a lot of people going this way; same as people raise chickens or pigs for a particular company. Someone elses' brand and marketing for your product in return for less work and overhead expenses for the grower. Thats in a utopian setting where people don't take advantage of each other, lol.

I guess it just burns me the wrong way...

Basically you can either mix it with kitty litter...or sell to an LP(so they can make money off your soon to be illegal meds)...or break the "law"....

If they mean another LP then that fine if they mean any one with a current production license then that is 100% crooked. Hows the converted chicken coup grown medical cannabis for you?

So where is it written in the regs that I can sell my stuff to the LP?

http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/marihuana/info/faq-eng.php

I have a valid Personal-Use Production Licence or Designated-Person Production Licence. Can I sell my plants to a licensed producer?

Yes. If you hold a valid licence to produce issued under the Marihuana Medical Access Program, you may provide starting materials (plants, seeds or clippings) to a licensed producer. To do so, you must submit an application to Health Canada.

If you hold a Designated-Person Production Licence, the consent of the authorized individual will be required. If you produce for more than one person, you will need to submit this information for each person.

Once the application is received, Health Canada will verify the information. If all of the information is valid, a notice will be sent to the licence holder, the authorization holder(s) (if applicable) and the licensed producer authorizing the transfer of materials.

All Personal-Use Production Licence or a Designated-Person Production Licence expire no later than March 31, 2014, so this is the last day this type of transfer may take place.

I been hearing of LP's buying flowering plants off of MMAR, not dried buds but ready to harvest plants. "Starting material"

Cheers GG

WTF how the fuck can they give you mandatory sentences but now that the big boys are in you can sell your "only for you" weed to them. LOL crooked as shit. Mandatory sentences to scare people from growing to protect corporate weed and now this to help the big boys out.

Wow only if they put in that much effort into hiring inspectors to check the MMAR places.

Now we know how these guys got their stock in so quick. They grew it with their PPL then sold it to their own company.

This whole system is shady as hell. These out the gate companies are just hoping to swallow up what little patient market there is while they have their monopoly. Any real competition, with real meds at real prices are a far ways off yet. By then their import/export markets will be wide open so medical competition will be of little significance. Doesn't matter if they produce crap right now because everyone else is producing crap right now with them and soon they will be the only "legal" game in town. And don't worry about any "looming shortage" HC has that covered with the extra supply they bought from PPS. By the time this retarded system actually gets up and running we will be in full campaign election mode of 2015 and on our way to full legalization. At that point I hope they just scrap all this bullshit and start over with a real medical and recreational model that doesn't just cater to big business and faceless corporations.

You missed the third option...To buy back your own medicine sold to LP's for a huge inflated profit driven price(I want to put "lmfao"", but this shit is far from being funny!!!).

This whole MMPR program has either been thought through completely by some business genius or task force, covering ever possible angle to give the LP's the utmost possible edge(1)Restricting the use of PPL's & DG's as to produce an instant market, 2)Allowing import/export, and now, 3) Allowing the purchase of all the soon to be restricted stock...Un-Fuckin-believable) . Or it was put together by complete idiots, who couldn't make money from selling gold bars they got for free.

I'm thinking the first scenario, the Conservatives have been selling out Canada for as long as they have been in power seat.

Steven Harper dosen't look like Doctor Evil...But he sure thinks like an evil genius.

Unbelievable...B

Exactly, you can sell clones, etc. Not buds. Funny how many people in this thread didn't even bother to just read the regs.

So the people who are the reason why the MMAR is over for using their license for commercial gains now sold their stock to the LP's which they own/work for. Nothing crooked about that.

Unbelievable isn't it!!!

Like I said in another post in regards to how the MMPR is set up and regulated...It was either, a well thought through business genius that created the MMPR or it was a total idiot that knows nothing about business or how the business world works. I choose to believe the first one...the "Business Genius", because no one in there right mind would allow so much freedom with a unregulated, unapproved FDA drug, unless that was there instructions.

If it were the idiot...Personal growing would still be allowed, but a monopoly is there final goal.

Peace...B
