The corey's nugs get a darker golden look when you take her past the late 60s, fyi. If you want that lime green look I'd say chop earlier. I like her around 9 weeks, not too picky with her though. I wouldn't take either the stardawg or ogs past 70, would rather have extra flavor over super stoney herbs, they're already strong enough!

Thanks.
I'm @ day 60, and the OG's are slowing down on their uptake, where the Stardawg
is still going strong.

I like taking my og's between 70-75, stardawg 65-68....I personally don't feel they lose any taste if they go a little bit longer within reason.

Ya that's why I ask, I'm at 63 & the stah broad is still bulking heavily. Been flushing for a while, so I'll take her @ 70 next weekend.

Took the first couple OGs @ 70, second set @ 63 .. Think I like the 70 forsure. Going to try 73-5 with the next group in there now.

I've been having such excellent results with a salt fert + org tea rotation, with tons of mycos in this new coco/Rockwool/peatmoss/perlite mix .. Loving life over here, although I know the warm days ahead are bound to cause some probs if I dot kill lamps! Shoulda never got the 2.5 ton split... Next room will be perfect.

Guava needs 75-77 for a proper top shelf effect. Still retains taste then too, earlier its like ecsd (taken early) and the high is uneventful and boring.

Corey is done 65 days no longer , like lloyd said it will get that golden thing going if you take her later .This cut is so bad ass in every way.. I like the Tahoe at 75 the latest , got a bunch coming down in two weeks and they are huge and chunky it will yield great when you get her down shit is dank ... Also got a few true Ogs rooted so Im gunna run them in a few weeks so we will see ..

Baph, I agree the tahoe is a beast if you take her 70+, i feel like a lot of the og's dense up super tight during that time. I was able to score close to a lb off 3, 2gallons, of the tahoe. Also I will be interested in how you like the True, my first run with her and I didn't give it much justice, I am hoping to give her another shot in the future, it didn't yield that well for me, but the nugs were classic og kush, kinda of had a creamy marshmellowy thing going on. The plant IMO grew like the SFV and Tahoe, but the nugs came out more like the Pure Kush. Have you tried the SFV yet?

MM, when I pop those seeds I'd be more than happy to post them over on the top dawg section, I apologize for not stopping over their in the first place and posting a couple corey pics already! You got any advice on those seed when I pop them? 'llI also be looking forward to checking out your new flavors. Glad you like the Chem4 as a breeder cause I am thinking I am gonna pop the PKxChem4 along with your top dawg gear.

Those pkxchem4 should be real nice, that marshmellow profile with that sweat sock should pair nicely....chem 4 root system is what intrigues me...not much I can remember personally from that cross cause a friend did them but the cut I used from cobbs beans were pretty consistent with everyone elses findings a white pheno of skva91 a tad bland imvho hints the tkstar for flavor pow!jeje....I get more sweet hp with the va....im finding my eastbounds are quite skunkie in profile boulbus fingers heavy fuel/skunk some sour/catpiss type odors as well....im sure you guys will end up seeing her at one point...but yes it would be neat for documentation sake.....jeebus im everywhere in this convo lmao...late

Nice man, lots of interesting things in that tent. This will be the first year in a while that i don't go seed-poppin-mad .. Gunna keep it to my supers & my own breeding projects this year.

I'm finding vveerryy nice stuff in the white OG Chem f2s I made. Never grew the white, but I'm certain that's where most phenos are leaning. Staying pretty short & bushy, buds look full on white @ 30 days, and every single leaf has 100% double serrations.. On every plant. I've never ever had that before, I see it all the time here and there, but 100% doubles on each seed pop is kinda nutty.

So I'll be digging into my WOGC crosses further.. Next up will be candy chem x WOGC & Number Nine x WOGC

.. Pics soon, cameras been on loan to my buddy, should have some pics this weekend.

Ahhhhhh now I get it,

Ahhhhhh now I get it,

BHO dabs....let's just say I'm on board. So I'm about to do my 1st run at it....I'm going small at 1st about 7 grms bud in hopes to get about 1 gram of high quality bho....I'm hoping to avoid the trial and error phase as much as possible and hope some of you guy's who know me would give me some solid answers.....I'm basically going to blow the tube outdoors and purge indoors I'm building a vacuum hood in hopes to create a similar effect as a hood for a grill...the idea is just use a 300 cfm scrubber fan with the vacuum end connected with a small piece of ducting to a cardboard box and the blower end connected to the window I know it's not a vacuum pump purge but it'll have to do just to help keep the fumes moving outdoors... my main questions are at what temp should I heat my water (obviously im doing hot water purge ) and how long do I let it bubble before I change the water and heat it again....??? and is the 2nd heating going to help make better end product....??? any advice is welcome.......Also the girls are in a new spot and it's a tight ship round here these days....2000 watt's c02 regulated kept very tidy and clean.....the whole 9.....pic's soon but this post is about the bho....

I wouldn't waste money getting that vortex fan thing built. Get a turkey pot, slab of acrylic, and a vac pump from harbor freight. U can pickup a 2.5 cfm for like $150.

Not sure how many ppl still do a double boil purge.. Inside I mean. Blast outside into a hot water bath. Reduce outside, bring inside to chamber, then film purge many hours.

In my opinion, it's pointless to run BHO without a vac chamber. There is nothing enticing or "high quality" about waxy butane laden Errl. Good luck.

For your first time....I would do exactly what CdM posted....
also temp controls what your product outcome is....I usually get shard from lower temps ie100 -110 and 110 bein on the high side, wouldnt go over 115-120 if you want shard..so roughtly 105 water bath, and roughtly 125 on vacuum purge but this is with a scientific glass vacuum chamber....vac is definitely needed if you want the best imvho....
morning NE...

Cop a vac it pro and laser thermometer. If you userl em right it will function like a little basic vacuum oven of sorts. Low and slow is best. Just blasted almost a lb of stardawg and let it purge for almost 48 hrs.....

Crazy how far oil has come! Remembering some of the stuff we were dabbing years ago... Oh man... No bueno... Nextsteps are dewaxing without a second solvent and using n-tane...

After smoking the Tahoe a few more times I can sorta see why everyone likes it so much. It's not so loud smell until it gets broken up, but then again was just the first time we ran the plant, probably really didn't do her justice.

Popped seeds last month and got one Straw D that is reaking of Cat piss. Kinda weird smell to come from kksc and sdibl parents. Looks very stout like a male, if so will chuck some pollen on guava, mss, cheese and casey.

I've realized over the next few years, really gonna have to adapt and change our system up, adapt prices and services to give people what they want. People believe certain clones are gonna keep them ahead, but I dont believe that will work. If weed wasnt becoming so legal sure it might, however look at CA and CO, OR and WA. Anyone who has lived there for a few years and didnt just move there, can get nearly any cut they want. Not to mention breeders like Bodhi and Topdawg, and other private smaller breeders that dont sell their seeds, can easily find a top notch keeper plant in a pack.

I'm not saying we are handing out cuts to anyone that asks, I share genetics with friends with the hope that if I somehow lose said cuts, one day I can get them back. I remember just a few years ago getting cuts from people very freely, there was no hoarding, then again I didnt ask for specific cuts like i was entitled to them either, they just offered extra cuts they had that they didnt need.

Ya I forgot to mention purge temps, that is absolutely crucial. Don't wanna give all the secrets away, but it's trial and error.. You'll find the sweet spot temp. Think of it like cooking... Too hot and ur flavor is gone. Like Lloyd said, low and slow lowwww and slowwww.

Have u started winterizing ur shit Lloyd? My buddys girl has wanted to do it for a long ass time, guess were just waiting for that absurdly large run so we can play around with new things. What the hell is solvent less dewaxing?.. Does it have to be agitated like bubble, or does it just bathe in water for a while?
