Going Vert in a tent?

I've done a few searches and haven't been able to find anything.

Interested in anyone that has done a 1000w or 600w vert set up in a 4 x 4 secret jardin tent.

4 x 4 seems pretty small. how tall is it? Maybe you can stack 250 watts on top of eachother and I'm sure you would get more than 16sq ft of canopy.

Its a 4 x 4 secret jardin, about 7 1/2 feet in height.

It works well, very basic set up, enough for me. Curious as to whether or not a vert in a 4 x 4 was feasible or if anyone else had done it before.

For example. If you were to only grow along 1 side of that wall you would get a 30sq ft foot print that you can grow on. If you grew horizontally you would only get 16 sq ft. That link I sent he used a 600 watt and a 250 watt but has an a/c window unit.

The point is to use as many walls as possible

I run 600 and 1000 watters on 4x4 trays all day. Just make sure you've got proper ventilation.

vent vert this morning, seeing temps around 82-84. Above my usual 76 average but it is unseasonably warmer today.

I'm assuming your ambient temps (temp of the room your tent pulls fresh air from) raised too.

I dropped down from the 1k bulb i was using to 600 watts ushio i had, the heat is now much more manageable in that tent.

Plus the light was absolutely blinding with the 1K. It was like that scene out of Pulp Fiction when they open the briefcase.


I walked to the welding store and got myself a set of glasses a few hours ago, that should be the first thing people buy when they go vert.


That should be the first thing to get when going vert.

Buy Shade 5 welding glasses, they are like 15 bucks and will save your eyes.

Then, everything else lol
