Any Idea How x_tracted Does It?

Propane's boiling point is much lower, therefor we do not need to expose our extracts to as much heat in order to eradicate them of their solvent.

Ive heard of peeps running propane before and it coming out decent. All the canned butane has some % of propane so Id be curious if they add more propane to there N-tane closed loop??

They also got a website..

sup, ic, first post here, X tracted is a interesting subject in my opinion, they produce a very uniform product. ALways a very rich vibrant color.

Now I consider myself knowledgeable, but im not a chemist. So I ask question when i have them.

they use alot of hash tags that elude to a scientific process that kind of perterbs me a littele
(disclaimer) Now I may admit that I am ignorant when asking questions sometimes, for lack of knowledge and sometimes I start just throwing out accusation.

anyways they are always showing much attention to the DETAILS of there terp profiles

now maybe im ignorant and he is just "figuring" that this one smells like myrecene.

then uses #myrecenemaster #phytolfactory as a hash tag.

"i could smell the pinene as it came out of the easybake this morning. pinene is uplifting, promotes alertness and memory retention. pinene is also a bronchodilator and may be beneficial for some asthmatics."

NOW I KNOW WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE CONSISTANCY OF THERE PRODUCT.

but i felt like this is relevant information to the subject.

when i asked him if he added phytol terps by name he told me

"we dont add phytol , we enhance it"

I'm with another large company in WA...

We don't sell any propane extracts currently, we mainly do CO2. However, our propane experiments are VIBRANT yellow. I'll tell you that much.

Propane heavy mix sounds about right. Probably use subzero solvent temps as well. Maybe some cls dewaxing too.

I'm sure having consistent quality indoor material also helps, firebros206 looks like there on point.

propane more selective? why would it bias color?

Unfortunately yes, propane seems to be more selective, but the color is more reflective of the cryo processing temps and inherent lower wax and oil uptake that go hand-in-hand with propane-rich mixtures.

There are a few things I would like to add to this thread, the first off is my immense respect for the work X-tracted and there team has put into the community and there open mindedness with there tech is something to be valued. From what I hear they are only running top notch product with CL systems mostly passive tamisiums which you can see far back on there instagram page. With that being said, they are NOT dewaxing there product which time and time again can be shown even at subzero temperatures some plant fats and lipids are extracted during extractions often due to high psi.
Secondly they often use this "pour" method, which requires a high % of solvent and they are doing this directly onto oilslickpad silicon mats which are shown to retain butane.
There "prepurge" muffins, IMO, are most likely from using a deep vacuum purge in the collection chamber after most gas is evaporated. EG. Instead of pouring onto oilslick pad they purge for 20min than pull out and break up

NO WAY! Been wondering this a lot myself lately especially with all that has came of the not so clear "clearconcentrate", and not making any aqcuisations either, but is it possible they are adding terps to there concentrates??

clear concentrates does add back terps and technically isn't solventless. of course they are breaking up. everyone I know that has tried clear feels it tastes fake

honestly their products are great but verrrrryyyy overrated, if you've been versed in the real game you should know almost every company is marketing+decent product. Real fire stays on the streets.....

They are not using ANY passive systems. They have shown over and over snippets of their equipment. If you pay close attention and know what you're looking at you can tell what it is. They are what they call "custom" CLS but they run at LEAST one from ExtractionTek in CO.

I use my own built sytem modeled after said ExtractionTek system and I have achieved prepurge shatter very similar to theirs.

Any off the shelf propane usable in extractions, or does the only usable kind require a business license to purchase?

Uh they clearly post a pic of tamisiums in the beginning of there instagram..which is a passive system.

Also at no point to do they post a Pump that would insenuate they use an "active" system.

I think you're right on about the pour and muffin. That seems pretty simple.

The color puzzles

We consistantly achieve identical product but not as light, and it is driving me crazy.
