Opinions on commercial method

So gents the idea here is to have the most cost effective vendable end product. We're focusing on growing method here. Needs to be; short veg time, easy to maintain, and obviously yield well. This is where I am thus far:

-Clone in aerocloners 2 weeks
-Veg in 3x3 square pots, with coco, for 2 weeks or until 12" tall
-transplant to #3 pots(coco)
-3 days grace
-flip to flower 8week strain

About 90 day cycle on this one. There will be no topping and minimal understory trimming. Watering with a pump and wand going to a drip system eventually. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated!:tiphat:

It kind of is sog with a little bigger plants. I was going for a happy medium between plant count and size. little extra size compensating for large plant count. Maybe 1 gal containers and veg to 6 inches then flip.

I'd give the roots at least 7-10 days after the transplant before flipping. The bigger the root ball the better the harvest.

That depends on how much headroom you have. Typically indicas stretch about 2-2 1/2 times and sativas 3-4 times, so yea somewhat strain dependent. When I use 3 gallon grow bags I typically switch to flowering cycle when they are about 18" tall. That is with 50/50 or similar hybrids.

Ah ha. I was figuring at least a 60/40 so I could get some light penetration with out having to deleaf as ive had to on heavy indicas. Did you feel your canopy was maximized using this method? Ive done sog on flood and drain tables, had great results, its just not practical for this scale. I don't know if they will grow fast enough in coco to reach16/18" in 44 days from taking the clones.

If u got ur clone an coco game down, 16"-18" is doable in 44 days.

I only have a few tips... DONT RUSH IT... 1. lol so if u have the space.. let the plants VEG.. I mean shit. unless ur running rooms ontop of rooms.. doing a SOG 2 rooms in the space of 1.. there is no reason to waste all the space above your plants.. so use 1000w lights... and make sure u put them around 50 inches off the ground.. fill in the light pattern.. with your light being that LOW.. u should get nice dense buds.. all the way down to the bottom buds of your plant..

also . if u like SatIVAS.. find a hybrid.. that's quick flowering.. and use that.. it will yield a lot more.. and will stretch more .. and will allow you to fill in so u have nice 8-12 inch Top Colas.. that will help with yield.. another thing..

So where im at now is skipping the 3x3 pots on shelves to go strait to #3 pots in the flower room to veg. This will increase the amount of time flower rooms are occupied by a particular crop and decrease harvests per year but I believe its necessary to achieve faster growth rates(no tp shock). Ill limit rooms to 84 day cycles 4 weeks veg 8 weeks flower. no topping/training. The goal is to not have to do any understory pruning after they are tp'ed from the cloners. I know this will be strain specific by height during the 4 week veg window.
