CS PPM not rising?

So I made a CS generator yesterday and have been letting the silver sit for almost 24 hrs. This morning when I checked on it, it was at 11 ppm after sitting for 14 hours and just right now i looked and it was at 13 ppm. I also switched the silver on the negative to the positive and vice versa this morning so maybe thats why it rose a little bit.

So is this as far as it will rise or should I just let it go for a few more hours? ( I am aiming for 50-60 ppm)

I still have some silver wire left over (.9999) as well so I could just use fresh ones if it could raise the PPM.

Is it in the light? Make sure and keep it out of light, as light degrades cs. I tried making some myself when I was in a pinch. I found it much easier and reliable to just buy a bottle from the internet. It was only like $30. the concentration is so strong that I can dilute it with distilled water to make more of it. As of right now I have enough to last for the rest of my life!!

Funny, I have this same problem. I haven't been able to figure it out yet either and mine is kept out of the dark too.

EC & PPM Meters like the Hanna Combo measure PPM & pH by measuring electrical qualities such as resistance - electrical qualities of water with NPK type nutrients mixed in.

That's quite different, in terms of chemistry & physics, than silver dissolved in water.

I wonder if the meter is doing its best to measure the CS PPM but is running into a limitation of some kind.

I have the Silver and the power supplies and the batteries ... I could have made CS. But I realized there is no way I will know what's really going on, not without a really thorough review of first year (and maybe second year) college chemistry.

I am about 2/3 way through "Tro", a standard heavy-duty college chem. textbook. My brain is bruised and bleeding. I need some Cannabis (that's not a solicitation, I'm just saying, learning classic pH calcs, the log scales involved, how that relates to Molarity ... OH SHIT.)

Recognizing my limitations, I ordered some 240 ppm CS off of Amazon.

I would like to make my own CS too, but, perhaps, for me, that is a 2015 project.
