It's one of the nicer establishments around yet they can't find a guy capable of cooking a burger properly? Sounds like a real gem.

My dad always talks about this place, guy complained about his steak not being cooked enough.

Waiter brought it to the back, one of the guys took the steak and put it under his shoe and rubbed it all over the floor, put it back on the plate. Apparently the person who ate it came back to compliment the steak.

There is also this other time, woman said her coffee was cold, waiter put his finger in the cup and said it was pretty warm.

Customer satisfaction and personnal satisfaction

Having worked in kitchens, all I can say is never complain, or if you do, complain to the waiter, don't take any more food, and don't go back. Spit, piss, spunk, I've seen it all go into returning plates. I don't agree with that, but it happens.

I just ate a half lb. venison burger. From hoof to plate it was all my doing. Shot it, ground it, packed it and cooked it. Total frickin perfection and satisfaction.

Oh how I wish I could neg rep.

You can neg rep all you want. You just can't do it anonymously. Sack up, hit the scales and neg rep all you like.

Neg rep serves no purpose unless the person knows WHY they got neg repped. That shit was abused far too much. If you got a legitimate gripe with someone, you have the right to neg rep them. And they have the right to know why.

If I neg rep anyone, they know it was me, and they know why, because I never hid behind an anonymous button. I hit the scales, and I TOLD them why.

Some people really do love feeding people. These are the people who make good food. Of course there are shitty places who won't pay for a cook who can do the job.....

when you have had enough...deep slow breaths...in through your nose, and out through your mouth. now, drop & relax your shoulders. put the situation in perspective relative to the safety of you and yours first, secondly how does it affect your overall quality of life. most importantly, find the humor in the situation and smile. now, you ready to deal with the situation with the proper perspective and in a calm and sensible manner. personally, in my old age, i make every effort to NOT piss off the cooks, home or abroad! i'll leave the food and not go back. if they have a website i'll pitch a bitch.

If you saw the local news expose called "dirty dining" , which puts hidden cameras in cooking areas, you would never eat in a restaurant again. I won't go into the details, but suffice to say it's disgusting.
But that's not my pet peeve. It's bad enough people driving while talking/texting on their "smart" phones, but now, I have people running into me constantly on the sidewalk, as they stare at their gadget. This has become so frequent that now, when I see the collision coming, I stiffen up my shoulder and just pop them as they walk into me. If they say anything, I tell them to piss off, as I reach for my mace. Haven't had to use it yet, but someone's going to get it someday. Walking zombies! People have become so f'ing rude. Hey, they are trampling one another to get into Walmart first to save a few pennies on some worthless POS.

I used to work at a Captain D's seafood joint. I saw a cook run another employee's battered fish thru dirty mop water that was on the floor....had boot muck, caked up grease from the grout lines in the floor & all types of other thangs in the mop water. Then he dropped it in the fryer for a few seconds & served it to her for her employee meal for her lunch break. After her break, she actually came in the back, where the cooks work, (she ran the front dining area) & comploimented him & told hium that was the best fish she had in her 10 years with the company.

I gotta admit, the lady that ate the fish really was an azz 90% of the time.

Prepare to launch the laptop through then window, then bury it in the garden standing on end until it is half buried, and stone the thing to death.
