i have also wondered if maryjane clones increase in potency as the plant ages. clone only strains would be interesting to study in this regard.

Tissue culture, expensive. But it does give hope that somaclonal variation will lead to the creation of additional genetic variability.

Like selfing but with a lab and cute lab chicks wearing glasses.

40 yrs of growing ,it was 20 yrs ago running ebb/flow in hydroton that i realised the potency increases in clones from mothers
The mothers in ebb/flow buckets on dry out completley before next flood ,so 2 floods per light cycle and a monthly flush.
I realised at about 6 mnths smoking 3rd crop i went blind halfway through a joint,crawling on my hands and knees .
With mothers at 1 yrs old still potency increasing, the drying out of hydroton bucket appeared to be part of it.A

Interesting Andyo.I top feed my mom,s in smart bags and hydroton every three hours.I think I,ll cut back and let them dry out more. I like big babies and have room for a few big mom,s . I use lots of clones for perpetual 3x3 ebb/flow tables. Easy peasy once dialed in.
