Thanks, cf...aromas are old school hazey, woody, spicy, incense with a floral note from the F13.

I don't have exact times, but around 13 weeks of flower.

Really perfect looking. 13 weeks is a fast blast! The flowering time on the Malawi is really short / dominant enough to reduce the flowering time of the cross by 7-9 weeks!? Thats great! Please let us know how the smoke interacts with your mind.

Just Like Bear said, 13 weeks seems to be very fast judging by the looks of your plant! .... I´m sorry, But i´ve never grown F13, so I can´t imagine what the " floral scent" is.... the Floral aromas I get from certain strains varry a lot.... but I do like the old school haze taste :jump:

excellent job you´ve done with this girl!... hope she smokes as fire as she looks!

The PHT(3b) I flowered was a 16 week plant. The DJ F13 is about a 8-9 week strain, so 13 weeks to the cross is pretty average. I didn't mark the start of 12/12, so who knows, it may be closer to 14. Still, a very doable flower time for the cross, though I expect there are hazier phenos that will go closer to 16 weeks in total.

I'm torn on the Purple Haze x Malawi. Structurally, it looks like it could go for another week or two, but there are a lot of amber trichomes popping up, so we'll see at weeks end. I'm traveling next week, so if not at 14 weeks+ (weeks end), I'll likely take her the following week at 15+.

Their is a rose absolute aroma that was very strong on the male (he/she) F13 donor. It was really something else. There is a small amount of that floral note transfered to this cross, but the plant grown so far is exhibiting mainly the hazey aromas from the PHT.

Im not sure if this is entirely accurate, but I feel like with these very pure sativas, an extra week or two adds to the psychedelic effects as opposed to the sedative/lethargic effects like you would get if you left more indica influenced strains a week or two longer. I might be wrong. I definitely feel your pain with a traveling time conundrum, I can't count the times where doing something before I leave is too early but it will be too late when I get back, happens all the time with gardening. My solution is to never leave my garden

Me too. I'll check the veg room before I go to bed and they look great. I wake up, and I got 2 sagging abit from being thirsty.
Same when I leave the house. They'll look fine, and a few hours later , I get back and a plants leaves are sagging from being thirsty.
I guess looking at them isnt enough. Gotta pick em up and see how light they are.

OvergrowDaWorld,

Nice job on the Lambsbread. Looks as Sativa as a Sativa can get. I'd love to hear a smoke report from you. Not sure if it is intentional, but I love the space that you are giving it. I always have to bend and/or crop to fit them into my cabinet. I like to see what plants look like grown naturally, or as natural as one can get indoors.

Keep posting with more pictures and descriptions, please.

How's the stretch going at 7 weeks? Nice plant for sure, great that you're giving her room. She'll go for a while but she will be a beauty.

Thanx guys.
She is in a 2gln pot and I need to t/p her into a 5.
The stretch isnt bad at all RandyC. Only 50% so far.
I think keeping her in a 2gln pot during the stretch phase helped with that.

When I add all the other plants to the room to flower them, Im gonna have to lower my lamp so she will have to get turned on her side.
Im gonna take a 5gln pot, cut a 7" x 1/4" slit in the side, put the plant in sideways, put the slit cut-out back on, and duct tape it over.
This will leave the entire plant on its side. Of course the slit will have to stay on top so no water leaks out.
Then Im gonna prop up the top of the plant with bamboo stakes. This will take up 1 outside row. Not bad.
Maybe the bottom side branches will turn into fatty top colas. :dance013:

Nobody beat me up.....but Im gonna seed 1 bottom bud with Blueberry x SweetTooth pollin for some headies.

Hey Overgrow...,

Cool plan with the sideways transplant. You will probably get more finished product. Good luck.

B.T.W., this gave me my first laugh of the day.
Nobody beat me up.....but..
Reinforcing Sativa genetics in Sativa/Indica crosses is a step in the right direction. I, for one, am glad to see it.

Potential Ultimate Sativa

Potential Ultimate Sativa

Greetings,

Here is a Sativa that I have in the flowering cabinet now. It is Zamaldelica (ACE) x Malawi Gold (Seeds of Africa). Sativa1 x (Sativa2 x Sativa3) backcrossed to another version of Sativa3. So, mostly Malawi Gold:

It has a wicked good looking golden color with zig-zaggy stems. I can stare at it for multiple minutes at a time, with my mouth open, almost drooling.

A few colas I've been storing after some time curing and perfuming my room.

picture.php

-Top: Kerala X Skunk#1. Skunky and pungent spicy mell with some floral hints. Active and euphoric high with calming comedown, not heavy though.

-2nd: Angolese X Meao Thai, faster female#1. Very floral and spicy smell; electric and racy high, daytime only, maybe too much for smoking indoors or in places with many stimulus! Not for the faint of heart lol.

-3rd: Philippines Sagada. Citrus and woody smell, the other female reminded to mango/lime. I've only smoked the seeded buds so far and they gave me a very spiritual mild and smiley chilled high.

-4th: OT Haze Green X Meao Thai. Pungent chemical smell, very strong and dank; electric, euphoric and clean high, great for hanging out with friends, music and outdoors. You can indulge a bit again when the high dissapears and keep the mood easily.

You can see how the Sagada buds were the latest in harvesting by the greenish look of the colas, still waiting to test the sinsemilla buds as well. Same with the fatty one, skunk influence for sure, very productive female and moderate stretching, great sativa for indoors. I can't wait to grow the "Kerala/Original Haze" as well, I'm sure I will love it even more than this one.

The proper smoke report yet to come, I have to push myself to take some notes and do my homework!

Vibes! :tiphat:

Mustafunk,

Nice spread you have.
:tiphat:

The top one looks like a red strain, and the bottom looks like a gold. Just gorgeous. The one I want to try is the Angolese x Meao Thai, by the sounds of it! Dynamite comes in small packages.
