Instead of making changes to the system to reduce abuse (it wouldn't take much) and looking at what Colorado has done this gov jumped head first into a tax generation scheme. No no not about medicine its all about generating taxes. Pretty funny if you ask me.

You realize Colorado is highly taxed and regulated, right?

Now what retard sets their product pricing same/higher as the illegal market pricing to sell their product? They might as well have legalized dispenceries and be done with it.

Dispensaries sell their product at or higher than black market, and they are thriving.

i have heard rumours that some of a LP product has been tested and it contains some not so nice stuff. Hopefully it gets posted up in depth in the next few weeks and the media picks it up

god i hope this doesn't increase the amount of shitty beaster purple kush that gets brought into the US. never see it in CA but it affects our export market….open sun outdoor herb is still better than premature PGR pumped beasters..

Dispensaries worked because people connected with people in person and not some person over the phone 500 miles away taking their order and having it shipped.

Also you can't tell me someone who has a 20 gram possession license was buying $200 worth of weed every day lol. Most of the people I saw at dispensaries look broke ass and bought a few joints/cookies or hung around sharing their cannabis. So if there are 15K 20 gram licenses out there that doesn't mean 15K people are going to be ordering $160-240 of weed to use per day.

What about Colorado? Colorado is nothing like what is happening in Canada. Colorado did it in a manner where its legal and where people can grow their own. This pretty much kills the black market while allowing the gov to collect sales tax from those that can't afford to buy legal weed and want to grow their own when they buy grow equipment, use hydro and etc...


Most wont last especially if there's gonna be like 300 of them LOL. There's only 34 mil people in Canada and here's some news for you most people don't want to get hight to kill pain . Those that want to get high do it for recreational reason and could care less about filling out forms at the doctors office (if they're lucky the doc might sign one in every 1000), sending out forms, paying with debit/cc and waiting for their weed to be mailed. People want weed when they need it and they want it asap. As for those 40K license 90% of them are gone and never to be heard from april 1st.

The number of people in the dispensaries is nothing what those companies need to survive and move forward. Most of these guys are applying to be listed on the stock market using number pulled out of their ass. Also remember the dispensaries will continue and some will go underground.

Again these people are basing their success on optimum perfect world numbers where there's is no black market, no dispensaries and no one but them has access to this "special" product.

That's classic. Have you never seen a thread asking Cali to keep their outdoor Blue Dream in Cali? Some of that stuff has made it here and I will gladly puff my Purple Kush thanks. Not saying all Cali weed sucks, just using the same brush as you to paint with. Peace GS
