Wine, olive oil and the juices from the vegetables make up the broth. It tastes wonderful.

Teff Ancient Ethiopian cereal from the Highlands

Teff_pluim_Eragrostis_tef.jpg

teff-grain.jpg

[YOUTUBEIF]QHt7_1AyJlg[/YOUTUBEIF]

The grain can be used by celiacs (the gluten in teff does not contain the a-gliadin-fraction that causes a reaction in those with celiac disease) and has a high concentration of different nutrients, a very high calcium content, and significant levels of the minerals phosphorus, magnesium, aluminum, iron, copper, zinc, boron and barium, and also of thiamin. Teff is high in protein. It is considered to have an excellent amino acid composition, including all 8 essential amino acids for humans, and is higher in lysine than wheat or barley.

picture.php

250 g Teff meal
250 g whole rice meal
1 tbsp hemp seed meal
2 tbsp olive oil extra vierge
2 tsp celtic sea salt
2 tbsp helled hemp seed
2 organic eggs
1 tsp arrowroot powder
1 tbsp palm sugar
500 ml water
9 g dry instant yeast

Keep on growing :)

There is an Ethiopian restaurant I go to that serves injera bread with all the meals. It is a kind of rubbery sourdough flatbread (made with teff). It is absolutely delicious when used to eat the stews that are the main course. It is addictive! Nutritious too!

Excactly my dream ;-) Never had so huge crabs.

Some from the last days,....Pork Chop, (Here we call it Nackenkotlett), noodles, fresh mushrooms, Sauce with lenses, cream, garlic, onions. The next day for lunch I had the noodles with the lenses as a vegetarian meal.

Here is something new from Maggi, my wife wanted to try it. Papyrus, with spices and herbs, this one italian style. So you don´t need fat and the chicken is cooked in his own gravy. I am not convinced. :)

Dark but delicious,..Chickenbreast with spaghetti and red pesto.

We were in the City. Sushi and Gimchi. By the way, my first Sushi I was eating in NYC 1990, heárd a lot about it, but no chance to find it in Germany in my area by that time.

but i don´t like convidience products at all, tomatoes or kidneybeans out of the can is ok, but in evera other instant product, there r sooo many glutamat stuff in it, also in that maggi pergament? i don´t get what it is, hehe, but in the end it looks ateable

Hello Bonsai bob,:tiphat:

I think the Maggipaper was only a try. I don´t like it for the reasons you wrote, it´s a babylonthing! Sometimes I got little probs after eating chinese food. It´s full of Glutamat and such things. How shall I say in english makes me nervous, in german kribbelig.

No it´s Sushi from today. In the early 90s I made no pics of Food. I had a Hotel in Koreatown, midtown Manhattan.
