If everything was legal 100% with identical laws in Fla and Cali, where would you choose to live and why?
confused-smiley-013.gif

I would choose Floriduh. Despite generations of inbreeding which has produced one of the dumbest most corrupt states in the country, I still like the tropical southern Fla atmosphere in palm beach country on down to Monroe Cnty ( the Fla keys )

The way it stands today I would choose California. But if............

i love St. Augustine but I don't know if I could handle that summer humidity again! and the hurricanes could be rough on outdoor crops. MMmmm...Osteens..

I'm a 4th generation Floridian. I moved here in 2010 partly because of the mmj laws.

It's hard to say where I'd live if weed was legal everywhere. California has better jobs in the IT industry. Most of the good software jobs in Florida are in the defense industry, meaning you need a security clearance and drug tests.

Most of my family is in Florida, though. Houses cost 1/3 of the price there compared to the Bay Area. I might move back someday. I just know I'll never live in a place where weed is illegal again.

Cali but itz more expenzive.

Cali cuz of the open-mindedned attitude. Beachez, mountainz, real foreztz up north, dezert, cold water central & north, warmer water zouth....choicez. I lived in Monterey (Fort Ord) for 2 yrz & loved it!!! Wizh I waz ztill there (anywhere in Cali) & could afford it...other than the dezert partz. Would want to be within an hour of the ocean.

EVERYTHING in Fl lookz real cloze to the zame. The highezt point in Fl iz about 180 ft above zea level...the whole ztate iz flat. ALOT of cloze-minded backwardz attitudez in the central & northern partz of the ztate. Znowbirdz....ggggrrrrrrr, almozt got ran over by a couple blue hairz when I lived in Wezt Palm Beach. More affordable than Cali (I think) & am conzidering a move back there cuz wifey haz been talking about it for the pazt 3 or 4 yearz.

Ideally tho, I'm trying to find zomewhere without harzh winterz, iz relatively zunny, that haz favorable lawz & I can live on 2k per month. I know 2k per month. I know that izn't ALOT, but it'z my rezidual income & there are no taxez taken out. Zo, if u know of a place like that...hit me up!!! LoL

Sharks vs Sharks and gators. I'll take just the sharks. Hurricanes also seemly detrimental to an outdoor crop. California literally has everything. Besides cheaper property (you get what you pay for), can anyone name something or quality that FL has, but that Cali does not have? I can't think of one. Now, turn the thought experiment around. Cali has sooooo much. Volcanoes, beaches, 14000ft mountains, Mohave desert, LA, SF, Humboldt, hella wine regions, lake tahoe, proximity to vegas, redwood forests, wide ethnic diversity, and last but not least, a fantastic growing environment most parts of the state. Cali love.

I would rather not even fly over Florida.
You can have California.
I would guess lots of places in the country will become much more inhabitable when you can smoke freely there.
Why would one limit oneself to the buttholes of our country? :)

Florida:
Sink holes that'll swallow your house, car
and grow in a heartbeat, and then that cat
George Zimmerman is still walkin' around.

California:
The cops, what more can I say? Like hired
killers set loose on society. Radioactive gifts
from Japans tsunami, a lack of fresh water.

Other:
I'd stay where I am, lots of fresh water and
a big building with vaulted ceilings for grows.
Winters ain't killed me yet, but they're tryin'

The entire southeastern US, is off limits.

The bible belt in particular, can fuck off.

Florida is one of the last states I'd go, for any reason.

Of the 2 Cali for sure.

My choice was other.

Duh. My opinion neither. Either it's which state taxes your ass off for nothing vs which state is the stupidest and asinine? You're choice. Either let's pay more for the gubmint to fuck up worse...or let's have stupid redneck idiots run everything. NEITHER. Both suck.

Tudo you live on 2000 a month? I'm wondering if I will also be able to make it in the real world because I take in 1100 and don't do anything. If I free my own I'd save 400-500 a month and be living like a king.

Anyone know how much I'd need to grow to have a z a month? I need to do something about my growing

Florid is way too humid and I thought the mj laws were really harsh. I know prices for homed and rent is cheap but you have to drive everywhere and if you get busted for a joint you get your license taken prob and a year in jail. I don't really like Florida at all. I was at NAS JAX for a while

I had a place in FL that was so beautiful I called it the "Land of Dancing Peacocks". On a small private lake with like 2 other homes on it. real fantasy place - but subdivisions approach and times change.
My pop came from LA to start with , and had I known how nice the difference in humidity was ... I love the warmth, I love all the different kind of people here.
What does scare the shit out of me is the cops here - I have NEVER seen anything like these cops here. What the fuck has happened here . On a regular basis, I see police acting like an occupying force in a third world country. I have not been treated poorly myself , but what I have seen does not make me happy or proud.

Amen!
There is no going back for me either. Not being terrified all the time, concerned with every knock at the door, does wonders…

Yes well, miami is well known for it's violence.

It was mainly built on cocaine money from what I know.

Can't be surprised the police are crazy in Florida.

Having lived in both have to go with Cali, so florida is awesome but the humidity is a killer but their beach/water kick so cals ass. + I wouldn't want to live in the south again tried texas, georgia, and Florida I've had my fill. If I was 20 something again possibly it would be FL hot Brazilian chicks, awesome nightlife etc

The police down here are something else been this way forever its actually a little better since the 80s/90s with dash cams, youtube, and every body having a camera/camcorder on them I think although I did get pulled over yesterday in Hollywood for having my headlights off at 5:23 pm at sunset basically a dick move it wasn't even dark yet. LA co Leo have been assholes for as long as I can remember giving chicken shit tickets like mine above J-walking tickets and shit like that its why nobody like them they power trip. Adam carolla actually has a funny bit on his podcast about the LA cops and their chicken shit tickets and power tripping....been here since I've been 5 years old have lived in SE Asia, different parts of Europe never have I seen people actually afraid of LEO like here in LA.
