Yes that was a thought.thanks man.stupid question but, would a good lawyer really make a difference or a waste of money?2500 to bail him out BTW

Would it be better to try and bail him out or save the money for a lawyer and build up time in county?

I guess I should have formerly introduced my self.long time lurker from og this is my first thread.I know most of you very well and know what great guys most of you are.I'm been here for the good and the bad.
And hope maybe you guys could maybe give support or whatever.

I don't know if anyone remembers my mom ganjamama.probably not.both my parents and I are growers with tragic tales.it probably sounds cool to have parents who are growers but it all its cracked up to be.since I was little my father has been to prison off and on my whole life.and this might be the big one.

So if you great guys and gals could help me in this time of need I would be eternally great.

Save the money for a lawyer.
Do not take the rap for the ganj found in the car. Adding charges to you will not help your father.

if you can't afford a lawyer maybe you can find some legal advice floating around the net. There's lots to be found but it can be a daunting process.

I would start by lookin up the driving laws for your state and carefully read them examining every word. Some states don't require a regular citizen to have a drivers license. As s matter of fact, I think I recall a supreme court rulling in a case involving Chicago Motor Coach
Look up the laws and try to understand them very clearly.

research, "Drivers license v Right to drive"

Isn't medical use ok in that state, now? If he has a medical need??

I'd call Norml and at least get a free consultation. Most lawyers will give a free consultation. Good luck and hope it all turns out, fine. jpt

Thank you for the kind words jpt but even if he could get medical which as far as I know nobody has in this state,he has felony distribution which automatically means he can't get it.medical is slow in this state.still figuring out the bugs here.

Maybe this thread is more to vent than anything.more worried about the driving than the weed cuase the weed is misdemeanor, driving felony
