what up what belt have you gotten up too? looks like white in your avatar, ive been training bjj for over ten years now. nothing compares imo, for stress relief and exercise just love the sport....big 1 stripe brown belt here.
anyway I had some spots like that one time found it to be salt build up messing with cal uptake if I remember right......it was a while back so not sure but maybe it will help you get an idea of what might be going on.. that tent city is badass perpetual setup

BJJ brownbelt hell yah man , respect.... I'm still a white belt after 4 years. They call me "grey belt" at my gym cuz my white is so old and tattered. I was training 4-5 times per week for a couple years, My coach is notorious for waiting too long to promote ppl, he is very competition-oriented.
Anyway the belt is just a fuckin belt... i choke every white belt i roll with nowadays so i assume the blue is coming soon. I might compete at BJJ Worlds this year in SoCal and if i win that then he will have no choice but promote me
For a small guy (5'9" 140lb) i have a really heavy top game, lots of collar chokes and arm triangles. On bottom I really favor Butterfly and X-Guard although the guys I train with are getting into fancy inverted guards , 50/50 guard, etc... it's cool we have a brown belt here on ICmag, peace bro!
p.s. we figured out the leaf spots, it was from spraying while the lights were on.

Belt is just a belt but after 5 years i should mean a little more it does for me anyway...signifies knowledge and dedication especially the older tattered belts...glad to hear you respect the gi game seems like most people I talk to hate the gi and dont like it cause.they train Mma. Love the setup man! tents are bad ass, my hat is off to you getting the results you are with recirculating coco, super low maintenance and it looks like its working out well for you.
Could be phototoxicity, anything with lights on is a bad idea if it can be helped. Keep an eye out for thrips, the damage doesn't look exactly like them, but I can almost guarantee you will do battle with them at some point considering the climate you are in. When it does come up, spinosad is the answer, fog everything coming in and just keep an eye out.

how do you like those gorilla grow tents? I was looking into them but am hearing stories of poor zipper design and tons of light leaks.

Pump runs every 3 hours with lights are on (4 floods per day), or all day (8 floods per day)?
it will work either way but i like to flood every 3 hours when lights are on, and then once in the middle of the dark cycle

I flood every 4 hours (Lights on, +4, +4) and not at all when the lights are off. I figure the 'Pump' is off so why feed it?
It lead to root rot for me. Does it work for you?
Dont know if you realize this or not but it takes along time to load each page because of the huge pictures sloooooooowly loading.
I love your undoor and outdoor threads, but its the only ones that take this long to resize each pic before the whole page loads and is ready for our viewing pleasure.
Maybe if you try resizing the pics, after loading them to your computer, before uploading them to your albums, the pages in your threads will load super fast like they should.
If your not sure how I can be of some assistance. If you dont care and its too much work for ya than Ill learn some patience.
