I wont try to go on the net and ask for cuts.. me personally if I deal with you in person. that's an entirely different story.. but I don't offer shittt .. if people ask.. that's one thing.. but even then Deny anything until I find out if there trustworthy and have anything worth trading for.. honestly I found that u can weed out a lot of losers with garbage just by grabbing a gram of every strain they grow.. if it sucks. then u cant get clones of the shit he wants from u .. if its good. do a even trade.. and even then . quarantine the shit out of it .. don't want to get anything from some grower who is a slob in the grow rooms .

From what I understand cuts were sold at the cup... 2day I see them forsale at a few online sites.... Whether they legit or not I have no clue but 50 bucks on cl is a lot for any clone..... Besides gg4 is old news gg567 is the future ....
What's better tasting... Personally I'd say cookies IMO strickly on flavor... Sweet Doughy og funk... Gg is heavy chem sour and sumthin else.... It really depends on ur preference... if its only flav cookies wins... Now if potency yield ease of growth nug size all factor in gg all day long...

well rick first off its good to see you , been some time since we have seen you, there is testimony after testimony about the gg4, also this past weekend shows pretty much the answer to your question. winning the cup in LA says a ton, you know as most everyone does that the strain selection there is second to none.
taste wise that's going to be up to every individual , cookies is unique and has a great taste, gg4 is more chem and sour dub funk, I have never heard anyone say they dident like it, comparing the two is hard to do, there on total opposite ends of the spectrum .
I'd say the Cookies taste better for sure. They are really high on the taste and smell charts. That is pretty much their calling card. If there was one area the GG4 could improve on, it would be the smell and flavor department. Not that it's bad, it's just the weakest link, IMO. Potency is where GG4 really blows the Cookies away. Wasn't impressed with Cookies potency. GG4 is a real headbanger for sure.
I don't agree with you on the smell and taste of the gg4, the smell is off the charts. different for sure, but not weak in any way, like I said they are two totally different spectrums. but I guess you know I am prejudice on my choise

I wandered the cup for hours had some really tasty cookies but I really enjoy the glue for the sour d note at the end.
I wouldn't be upset finding a fresh bowl of either packed

Yeh, I Gota admit that sour skunk smell from the diesel/chems is a very very strong smell,,,bag appeal is intense
But that Og taste is Defo my preference over sheer smell,,,,although I do love sour notes when I exhale

Well, since you are most intimate with the GG4, what would you say its weakest link is? I've only had the pleasure to smoke it a few times now, so I'd love to hear your opinion on that.
Here's a mini smoke report while it's still fresh in my mind.
Buds are for sure everything they are cracked up to be here. The frostiest I have ever seen, beating out the Blackberry Kush and White Fire OG. The resin is just off the charts. Buds stuck to each other from the day I got them. It was comical watching the cup vendor try to get the GG4 out of the jar. He was getting a workout just trying to knock them loose.
Smell was interesting upon first whiff. Baked potato. I got a baked potato smell in there for some reason. I dug a little deeper and then a sharp sour diesel smell dominated. The flavors align with these smells as well.
The buds from the cup were grown really well. They burned so evenly and cleanly...it was a real pleasure to smoke. Minimal residue upon completion.
High was hybrid to start with. Real effects behind the eyes. That headband sort of feeling. Heart rate increases. Then it transitions to a heavy indica stone. The type that can put you to sleep easily. In fact it cut right through 2 Red Bulls and I was out for the night. Usually when I drink caffeine at night I'm up until the wee hours. GG4 has some strong sedative properties at the tail end. Duration was nice...a few hours off 1 bowl. Stayed strong well into it.
Congrats on the cup win. I almost stuck my foot in my mouth by posting when I got home that the GG4 was a real winner and you shouldn't be upset by not placing. I know there are a lot of good strains in the Cali scene so the competition is real stiff. The fact that you got first is just a testament to the super strong qualities of the GG4.
We were running GSC, but let it go. We culled it. While its a great strain, its alsi the most overhyped in history. I enjoy the thick spice flavor of GG4 enough, that I no longer have room for GSC in my garden.

My OGMango soul be one you'd like Rick. It's the Original OG x MMS Mango Haze. It leans hard toward OG, but just has a mist of Mango flavor in it

It's a coincidence you brought up Headband. I crossed the GG4 to headband, and guys are already running it.

when I got the cut[not rooted] it had a SOUR/CHEM DANK smell
