If you gotta feel like you're doing something look up Sprouted Seed Teas..... SST's can be done much more often....

Seriously, what he said! I do them pretty much every watering and I have only noticed benefits. It doesnt take much work and its pretty cheap too, especially if you buy bulk seeds

Hey SG, looks like your going to have a lot on your hands soon. Looking forward to the Goblin Queens. I can just see you walking in the grow room smiling and whistling.

All the excitement of a game of curling.
Breeding, then testing, then pheno hunting.
Seems to take forever.

I'll be smiling when the testing lab says which one is the best.
Then repeat a dozen times. :woohoo:

Hey errbody

Been busy lately, lots of doctor appointments and also rebuilding my flower room.

I'm currently separating/dividing my flower room to increase my light wattage.

Used to be 5000wts, will be 8000wts when done.
Installing an 8 light flipbox to run 4000wts in each flower room.

Also building 18" high benches to raise pots off the floor and make it easier to maintain my plants and use the stadium method to make best use of lighting.

Here is a seedling update.
29 Nocturnal on right at 2 weeks from sprouting. (female selections)
5 Halo 2x (male selections) week 1 from sprout.

Seeds are planted directly in my base mix at 1/2" deep with just a trickle of water every 2 days.
Lost 1 seed, but I'll take 97% live rate anyday.
I'd say the seed in vibrant, eh?

Here's my veg room with all diff plants.
10 are my keepers, and 5 from my Son.
Still small, but better than no garden.

Lovely ladies you've got there buzz! I like your screen, looks well made and mighty sturdy. I built mine out of pvc so it would be light and flexible and its doing the trick nicely

nope... my mulch is a mix of timothy hay, barley and alfalfa... mostly bunny food and my leftover sst sprouts.... there's a lil bamboo almost center of screen... its to the left of Goblin Queen

cool, I throw my sst leftovers on top of my soil too! some even sprout and add to my groundcover; the dock seeds i scattered have really taken off and are filling out nicely, should make for some good mulch when i trim the leaves

Hey brotha.. well, its that time of the year again.. I'm getting into the building spirit again.. and you know I was gonna come barking up your tree!

Ok so the wife is over having the grow inside the house, so I gave her the option of getting a big shed to put out in the back yard and she went for it. I was thinking that I would like to get a pretty big one to house the veg, flower, and have a place to process out there too. My back yard is not huge, but I have plenty of room to spread out.

You think a pre made one is the way to go? The one that I found is prolly gonna be about 8 grand.. is that a good price for one thats about 16x28? I was thinking if I went big, I could just section it up for the different areas. What are the dimensions for yours?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to help me out homie.

First thing to check with is your local planning office to see what is required for out buildings to meet with local codes.
I know a guy that built a big grow room in his back yard and the city, which uses google earth for satellite imagery, found it.
What? No permits,?no inspections?
He was given a choice, tear it down or pay very steep fines.
There went his grow, had to shut down it down, payed steep fines, and strict inspections(including removing drywall)to assure compliance.

So do yourself a favor, find out what you can do on the downlow, without permits, then go from there.

Ya when pheno hunting it can seem to take forever, but at least you are doing it the right way. More then I can say about some big names in the game. Seems they are all about the money than the passion of the plant.

And just think of the keepers that you are going to find, they will be strait fire. :)
