Say guys, and gals.... looking for sum insight....

I've been asked to set up a small grow for a elderly lady, that works w/ my wife.... she, a divorce', and works much.... so not having the time, space or resources to really work the beans....

Her best bet is to go w/ FEM seeds , and grow them out to avoid the hassles of working beans, and maintaining a VEg and Bloom space....

she only has room for bloom....
so i figure.... she can VEG FEMS in the same spot and then flower them out without having the hassle.....

So I'm in a area i dont often travel...... what is a good reliable FEM seed line thats worth checking out....????????

Well my only experience with fems came from http://www.femaleseeds.nl/ the strain was C-99 Feminized and they did very well and produce very nicely giving me a very enjoyable batch of C-99 to smoke on for a year.

Since that is my only experience with feminized beans I can't say they're the best on the market but they sure did well by me and were very easy to grow relatively speaking.

I have also only grown 1 fem line...female seeds also. Grew graprefruit, not the 1 their selling now but i've heard it's good too. I kept it in the garden for about 18 months, so yeah it was real nice. It was lanky with alot of branching so i eventually let it go. Yeilded alot tho. I would say a female seeds 4 pack would fit her perfectly tho...the price is decent too.

I only use and grow feminized seeds. I have been growing them from when they first started selling. Back in the day they were more prone to hemi. Today they are must better and I have very good luck with them. If you go with a good breeder you should find some good fem. seeds that will work for you.

It all depends what the person likes. One of my favorite strains is Super Lemon Haze, by (I hate to admit it) Greenhouse. I have also had very good luck with Dinafem strains. Critical+ is excellent, and yields very well. It's a highbrid, same as Critical Mass, which is a particularly fragrant pheno of Skunk #1, very sweet & fruity. Also, yielding even more than that, and the highest yielder I have seen is Critical Jack, which is Critical+ X Jack Herer. Very stoney. These fems from Dinafem are extremely uniform....look like clones. Haven't noticed any different phenos in either of the strains I mentioned. Extreme vigor, and 100% germination rate for me. They have other highly regarded strains. All their gear is femmed, and comes from Spain. Since they sell at high volume, seeds are always fresh, and germ in less than 24 hours for me.

This post echoes your username.

You say your've been growing fem seeds since back in the day, it's all you grow, and then you cannot even mention ONE line of seeds to choose. Most unhelpful post ever.

Im tagged for this as am also looking for some fem seeds to choose from

I had good results with feminized Sensi Star seeds from Paradise last year. I only bought the fem seeds since I couldn't find the regular ones. I'd recommend that if she wants a hard hitting indica. I'd go with C99 if she wants a sativa, assuming it's as good as the regular C99.

My only other experience with fems was with Dutch Passion Twilight in 2011. Those ended up half pure female and half hermie.

I know this might not be a popular answer around here, but I am truly thinking of the little old lady. If I wanted just a few fem plants with yield, potency, great taste, and easy to grow, I would say Reserva Privada Kandy Kush or TH Seeds MK Ultra. Both are massive OG Kush hybrids and would not let down anyone in need of some fine smoke. MK is slightly easier to grow, and KK is tastier(more skunky!) and more awakening. Kandy Kush is my deserted island strain!hahahah

I will second true canna....

Very vigorous..100% germ rates...and all plants are looking amazing.

Verdant Green is also good...

As should most Fem's from any reputable breeder should be good to go.

Go with Cannabiogen's Peyote Purple. I've grown 35 plants and only one turned out male. Three seasons ago I crossed them with MLI and I'm very pleased with the results.......

Yup,
That Critical Jack is a monster. Tons of very trippy buds and easy to grow.
I found it likes LST and will send out calyxes everywhere. Keep the air moving because some of those flowers will be THICK.
If you want only one adult at a time, this could be that one if you're looking for more high than stone. She'll be giving the stuff away.

I think they do an auto version as well. I haven't grown autos yet but that would make things easier for a rookie.

I was going to warn against the tendency to hermi but I think it was Painful who said that doesn't happen as much anymore. But that hermi gene is still there so may show up, but if you check the plants every day or two for nanners in flower I think you'd be fine anyway. But that hermi possibly, and the fact those beans are usually more expensive, has always steered my cheap ass away from them.

The nanner thing is a myth... for the most part. 99% wont.

If even 1% do produce "nanners" then it isn't a myth. The reality is that for the hermi gene to express itself the plant itself needs to be sufficiently stressed to trigger it. Since growers do their level best to maintain stress free environments it stands to reason the percentage of actual hermi expressions would be a small percentage.
