Not a lot of info here about gooey breeder seeds so I thought I'd start a new thread. A few quick thoughts on what I have observed so far with the strain pure gooey. This is a very inbred and stable line with all plants very uniform. Also not a lot of vigor for a pure sativa as it is a bit slow to veg. Will not stretch much at all in flower so it must be given extra time in veg to yield. About 65 days to mostly cloudy trichs. High is great, all head with some waves of electricity. I have made some f2s and a few crosses to see if I can get some vigor into her. A pic from day 30 flower.

Curious...is Gooey only available in Calif MMJ dispensaries? Don't know much about them. Enlighten us!! ;o)

It is originally from Norcal I believe. I grew mine from seed so no clue if any cuts are out and about. I'm in CO like you airbud so some cali guys can speak more on what cuts are out. The make up is:
Cambodian
Mex Gold
Lumbo Gold
Thai
Maui
and cubed with old SSSC S1 (old skunk1)

Have the Gooeybreeder Kona sunset going. Should be a good one. Unique color strain. Uses the Dark gooey male in the cross with Kona. Here is part of the description and it does say something about the Gooey mom.
"A very happy high with a wonderful taste of the islands tinged with a wonderful sweetness from the Dark Cross male which also gives the buds their stunning color.
Dark Cross was created from my Zinn with my Lava and also my 30 year old Mom Gooey.
A very impressive male with the darkest purple coloring and stunning resin profiles
which add nicely to the Kona line"

Just a quick update on the Pure Gooey. Day 65. Has a strong pineapple/tropical fruit smell and is sticky as hell! This is a tough plant to dial in due to the way it grows. Very branchy and almost no stretch. I have some F2s and a few crosses to play with so we will see what comes up.

A couple of pics of a pure gooey girl,smells are similar to yours timekeeper,pineapple/tropical with a brown sugar back to it.
I've got a couple of cuts of "mom gooey" in veg,cant wait to see what the old girl is all about!

Nice looking plants jaded1! Pure gooey is very uniform strain. Almost all have a similar smell and taste profile, only slight variation in height. Here is a pure gooey x Malawi at day 73. Smell was all pg early on (pineapple/tropical fruit) but starting to get that classic Malawi earth and carrot sent. Starting to fade but just a few milky trichomes.

I only have gooey mom and she's about 20 days right but she's fast to frost up by day 13 her little buds where coveted by day 17 her fan leaves were covered. She's the mother of gooeyness in my tent that's for sure. Now I just have to wait to try her no wonder she's been around over 30 year and still beating a lot of the modern stuff. I have a small cut of her that as been sprayed with sts to make a few s1's, gooey x livers, and maybe a gooey x GG#4.

Is pure Gooey same as the origninal Norcal Goo? I a straight Goo, thats supposed to be old original gooey precursor?

Pure gooey is the gooey mom cut outcrossed to an old sssc sk1 and then bxed back to the mum a few times.Not sure if the goo and the gooey are the same cut.True Grit,have you tried the goo?Gooey smells of berries now she's nearly dry and something that I cant describe

She is a very resinous lady ain't she Brock!I've got the mom cut drying at the mo,def 1 of the frostiest plants I've seen.

Nope havent flowered one out yet, went back and looked at tags and seems I have original Gooey not Goo or Pure Gooey. Need to get one flipped soon! Yours look nice adn frosty, and berry terps sounds awesome

Is gooeybreeder a active member anywhere online so I could ask him about these 1987 afgoo seeds I popped and will be making more with the male and female I luckily found in 2 seeds!

Gooey didn't make the afgooey,was 1 of his friends who made that cross Emporotamia. Gooey is still active on 1 of the other forums
