the last few days i was mixing soil and used those plastic milk crates to lift the tub to the cement mixer to dump in
and thought they would be ideal planters
and i have a pile of em... :D
Those cement mixers are awesome, my mom got one for her birthday so she can start making her own potting soil. Might just start doing all my dirtwork over there and filling up a rubbermaid or two as i need it.

Another thing about those milk crates is they are damn close to a cubic foot which makes measuring and reamending a breeze.

Everybody in flower is responding really well to the added light intensity and blue spectrum. I think i was definitely pushing the limit of useable light with those 2x600. Temps are controllable, staying around 80f with the exhaust fan on.

5/8 of the c99xbdb were poking out of the soil this morning so hopefully the other 3 will be out soon.

Heres a veg shot and a picture of the CBC boy. If anybody wants to hear more about anything feel free to chime in.

Hey all - been pretty busy but i'm gonna jump in flower today and get some shots of those Cindy's Blue Cheeses, cause they are lookin fine!

Got my whole veg room pond linered, and once those huge CBC's are down i'll be able to move enough stuff around in flower to get that done too.

A couple of 860w CDMs arrived, one is going to replace the dual arc as soon as i wire up another timer for my 220 line.

Crazy bulbs!

These are some C99xBlueDigiBerrys, they got transplanted into 7 gallons a couple of days ago. Excited to see how the compare to their cousins the CBCs.

All of them showed distinctive flowering structures.

Mostly cheesy aromas, but am noticing some other smells coming through that i cant quite put my nose on yet.

Here is #1 /4

The cheesiest, fastest flowering, fans turned colors quickly. Least cindy influenced bud structure.

Very interesting structure, not quite sure how to describe it. Very purple stems, slight more of a blueberry aroma. Pistils are much finer, calyx are smaller. Most vigorous clone.

This is the only one that is staying green, most nutrient sensitive. Responded to topping poorly and clone is least vigorous. Crown type cola with foxtails. Least smelly. It was hard to get a good shot of this one.

Thanks for the 'heads up' on your thread here, BigShrimp.

Those CBC's are doing beautifully under the care of your big phat green thumb - thank you so much for the pics :huggg:

From the few grow reports and photos so far, the CBCs are giving great performances for growers both indoors and out.

I'll be very interested to see what you think of her taste and effect.

All Thumb UP! Way UP.

They are doing quite well, especially for being way too big for their pots imo. Kicking myself for loosing the majority of them at the start. I have a feeling its going to be a hard decision on which one to keep as a mom.

I have the boy still also, i will definitely be making some f2s. He seems to stink more the longer i keep him, and has the most blueberry leaf traits.

Anyway cant say enough about what quality genetics these are and hope you can make some more beans in the future.

been a while since I dropped by bigshrimp,
everything is looking healthy and the ladies have tightened quite up nicely

I'm anxious to see how those new CDM 860s perform.
do you have to use a dimmer function or can you drive them full throttle with a 1000w ballast

btw
what's the kelvin rating on them?

Making more Cindy's Blue Cheese seed is towards the top of the 'to do' list for next seed runs. I hope to have more of these, and a 'reverse' of her by fall.

Although the initial 'test' cross for these CBC f1s produced a lot of seed, over time a lot have been put in the hands of other growers. Its SO exciting to start SEEING her growing in other people's gardens.

The layout and set-up of your grow area is very clean and impressive - your plants are responding beautifully to your skill and care. Awesome work. :tiphat:

I'm running them on a 1000w MH ballast. No dimmer or anything.

There are two versions, bt37 and bt56. Both 4k. The only difference is the size of the bulb, the bt37 is much more compact.

Initial impressions - you can notice thats its 860w vs 1000w. Heat wise it is running much cooler that the 1000w, about 5degree f. A nice warm UV feel to the light though. Light is white with a hint of green to my eyes.

I don't have much to compare it to but ill let you all know what i think since there isn't a whole lot of documentation on these bulbs.
