i took a couple of clones off of my first greek plants, and i am going to try to keep up with a new thread on their growth. i have them vegging under a 6 bulb t5 light and an 400w LED light. i plan on putting at least one of them outside this coming spring but i want the plants as big as i can get them before spring get here in a couple months hahah

yeah i would really like to have a sizeable plant to put outside to really see what these girls have to offer, and i would definitely take more clones

The plants have grown about 2 1/2 - 3" recently, I'm trying to work on building a big root base for the plants to support the size I want to get them to for spring when they get a few clones taken off and outside they go.

I have a hunch that "might" is not the proper modal!
Having seen plenty of trees in Greece, "should" or "must" are the appropriate modals.

And, Don, bear in mind that since these ladies will have a "mature" rootball by spring, they might prematurely flower on you in May if you plant them too early outside.

In the area that I am planning on putting these plants the weeds and grass grow faster than my plants do so my plant is covered up in no time. So I thought if I could get a decent size plant about 2ft tall before planting it, it will have a chance to get light and, I do clear the spot out and I dig up a decent size areas before I put my plant in, but the weeds grow back really quick.

Slovenian mate, I can hear your reservations, but then a prudent grower knows their niche alright and take the nessesary measures to minimalize potential threats. Now, I am almost sure that if the project is undertaken meticulously enough, then we're going to see trees of over 3 m.

Don, there is no herbaceous growth that can outgrow your "herb" !
So, to sum up, a proper ditch and a clean space of about 4 sq. m. will surely do the trick.
D'you mind telling the latitude you'll be growing?

I'm about an hour south of the 45th parallel line, I try to clean out about that size area and one my herbs get to the sun they do outgrow the weeds but the usually take about a week or so at least they have in the past to adjust to being outside then they take right off in to the most beautiful thing I've seen outside haha, so I try to keep them as happy as I can with the right amount of sun and shade, I had a purple monkey balls plant outside last year that once it took off it just gee and got thick and tough and budded superbly, but I'm always willing to accept tips on how to be more successful with my plants

They're looking fine and I' m sure they're gonna take off soon after getting home where home is...

sorry about that my phone turns the pictures sideways, I have not topped them once or done anything else to them other than feed them, these plants will be put in my sunniest spot so they get the most light they can

Hi i am a land-race lover and i was once given a seed from Crete and a seed from Sparta. Both turned out female . The Sparta one was a thin leaf sativa ,like a Thai strain , but it turned out to light for my taste.
The Cretan one was a huge sativa plant , with very heavy yield and a very nive strong sativa high with a hint of indica. The leaves turned enormous and almost all had 11 tips.
Later on i grew a super silver haze and i came to believe the Cretan one was supersilverhaze. It was excactly the same.
Don t find it strange , Greeks to travel or order over the Internet , so many strains presented as Greek are actually some well known haze. Growing a good sativa strain in the Greek sun is what makes the weed fantastic , so someone smokes it and thinks it must be a land-race strain cause its deferent. The sun and soil makes the deference plus the good genetics..

its been a minute since I updated this, one plant was finished indoors about 3 weeks ago. and one plant was put outside to grow in the ground.

Here are a couple of the shade leaves from the greek plant I have outdoors, it looks pretty pure sativa to me, can anybody tell me if the see and characteristics of any African, Asian or South American genetics in this plant

she is a magnificent strain, very very citrusy smelling and tasteing. very euphoric, happy type high, very clean no comedown problems. grows very thick outdoors and is a lot more potent grown outside
