So a few days ago I noticed this weird wrinkling and fading. The plants are about 1 week on this rez, 400ppm, I use dutchmaster zone for sterile rez, maxi gro, silica, calmag as listed above.

The closest thing I can find in the guide is zinc perhaps?

My ph did drop to about 5 when i couldnt get down there for a day, brought it right back up to 5.8. although some of them were stable at 5.8 and still show this weirdness..

any idea?

Looks like chem d tye dye pattern that Arises.Although I've never had/seen it (dare I say Tmv)
If "MV means mosaic virus, well it isn't is it
No problem if that was your concern. They will grow out of it FAST especially with DWC speed... :)

Hmm
hard to say what exactly wrong,
but I see what you have use maxigrow powder,
this nute works well. Just use KISS method (add 7g maxigrow/maxibloom per gal of water).

Like for me, plants looks like hungry.

I like the maxi series, simple to use, Any time I actually run 7g per gallon of maxi I burn the hell out of my plants, So i dunno how everyone manages that.

So more details, this weird thing is coming from the top down, looks like the lowest leaves arent effected. I have no yellowing of the lower leaves or anything so i figure they are getting enough N.

I did just recently glue the net pots to the lid with 2 part epoxy for plastic, I didn't notice anything drip into the water but possibly some chems got into them and its mutating them?

well, for now I guess ill go grab some microblast and foliar once, and change the rez in case some glue got in there or something. See how it goes.

thanks for the replies, id love to hear what anyone else thinks

400 ppm on a week old rez is pretty low. your Ph is a little low also.
I would change out all of the water. Up the PPM to around 800. I have no personal experience with the nutes your are using, with the exception of cal mag. personally I think all the extra stuff your using could be left out. just the grow and cal mag if needed, but thats just me.

ThecleanGame gave you good advice about the PH swing, but personally I would try to keep it closer to a PH of 6+/-
