50 watt HPS need ballast ?

I have saw a few PC grows with a 50watt HPS bulb in i was wondering would that still need a ballast of some sort ?

Yesa Bub. Any HPS or MH will need something to fire it up.

Go to 1000bulbs dot com and look what they have. There are all kind of sizes of HPS and MH to choose from.
