Hello everyone can any body help identify what I have got going on here, They are 5 weeks old and 1 week into 12/12 an look like there about to kick in to flower as the pistils are starting to submerge, the problem started with patching of the leafs going yellow if you can see in the pictures below

I gave them all a foliar feed of Epsom salts at 1 teaspoon a litre at lights off and the next day I noticed this problem occurring very quick. you can see the discolour I'm the pictures aswell and how the leaf has dried out with the discolour an rusty spots

They have been feed on PH 5.7/5.8 EC 1.0/1.1 and have had no change. I checked the run off on the worst plant in at 1.1 out 1.5 so I'm going to give the effected plants a good leaching at 0.8 and start again at 1.2. What you think? Thanks Lover

I have never used Epsom with a foliar but a teaspoon per litre seems high to me. Maybe foliar with straight ro to wash any excess salts off? I have a winning combo for foliar that leaves the plants praying leaves high! 4ml per gallon b52 and 5ml of liquid karma. Sometimes some cal mag if I got some lil deficiencies showing

Do you reckon that's to much? Iv used previously with no effect but I will most all the salts off due lights on, I have never used cal-mag never needed to only only difference with this run of plants I'm using the same coco from previous grow, I recharged the coco so it should be fine, I live in a very hard water area so I do run into salt problems but not these problems mostly calcium def but I can't see that this time

Every time I have run this strain iv Always stuck to 5.7 because of calcium if I jumped 0.1 it will kick out calcium def the next day but this run has been different I'm thinking because the coco has been reused, 5.8 seemed the sweet spot till now, it's really confusing me starting to pull my hair out lol

From what iv looked up it does look like a very bad calcium def, I will give them a good leaching with PH 5.6 EC 0.8 an see how they are till the next feed come Monday as previous feed run off was running a little to high, Will get better pictures once lights due on an update thread :) thanks MrL

That would be a great place to start. I also keep my ph at 5.8 with coco. I reuse my coco to so as long as it was rinsed and precharged it should be fine... Does your pH ever drift from using tap water? That was one of my top battles before i switched to ro

I normally feed at 5.7/5.8 I'm dropping it lower today to make calcium more available and get the runs off down as they are a little high and could be playing a part init, what do you mean by PH drift? I just add my Nutes an PH to feed to my desire, be back soon with some pictures will remove damaged leafs to get good shoots indoors

Just reiterating the fact that this recipe is the shit!!! I cant recommend it enough.... I foliar feed 2x a day in veg. I veg under 16-28 bulbs of t5 so i don't get burn from spraying with lights on

I have not heard of any of them mate, as you stated you use RO Water I always use tap...I never run into problems with this strain I do think I haven't recharged the coco properly or I have really bad salt build up that's all I think it's down too

Liquild karma is made by botanicare I love it use it all the time up to 5 weeks flower. Same with B52 made by advanced nutrients Love the stuff it is a b vitamin with all the extra goodies like humic and folvic acids that plants love. I sprayed these an hour ago to show ya how it "raises" the leaves. Nevermind the past neglect they are coming out of a transplant...

Its lasts forever as a foliar spray with the low amounts used and is well worth it. Ya always could pick up a gallon of distilled water to mix it with since you don't have ro

before you go nuts and pull your hair spending tons of money an time suplementing with cal mag products and chasing down deficiencies check the easiest most likely causes first. my suggestion after spending 18 months trying to correct my calmag issue, put a potato slice on top of your soil. check back and look for little black or light colored bugs. if they are root aphids they can have wings or not. they can exist for years in a grow only causing minor issues(like yours). they are hard to notice or diagnose in soil. i wish someone had given me this advice a year and a half ago. i started treating this round of flowers with alternating pyrethrum and azadactrin root flushes. this is the first round that i am not considering cutting two weeks early. they arent gone and im not willing to put harsh chems on 12/12 plants but they are managed enough to get through this round better than any in my last 10 rounds. i hope this info ISN'T helpful but if it is it will save you a lot of headaches. if your calmag deficiency is caused by ra's you wont cure it with any amendments. good luck!

catch some "fungus gnats" and take a close look at them they are easily conflatable pests. tail pipes. look through the infirmary but dont be dismayed by the doom and gloom on there. while it has wiped many a grower out, plenty of folks have come out the other side. i can observe mine crawling out of the bottom of my pots about 1-1.5 minutes after watering. they will eventually get to where they grow wings and fly into your flowers and die. thats how i finally figured out what i had. i thought they were fungus gnats until i pulled out a hand lens. the soil nymphs and the adult flyers look really different but are the same bug.

Mate I don't have any fungus gnats or any bugs let alone flys in my groom I know the problem throughout but to late to change the coco I know the problem will keep on top of it till the end, will always use new coco as my waters so hard causes a lot of salt buildup and I find it a fucker to sort it, bottled water would cost me a stupid amount for just these 3 ladies
