Hello, i have been looking for probably hours everyday for the perfect strain for my countrys climate. (Sweden).
I have heard great things about this strain. High yield, good potency.
Has anyone here grown this strain in a cold climate?
And would it suite a short summer?

Thanks.! :plant grow:

By the way. I looked up att what angle Stockholm was, and it lies at 59- 60 degrees. Just north of Stockholm.

The thing is that all the websites that sell this strain (and others like: Early skung, The Church, etc.) claim that it will finish in middle September- ish. However, i have been talking to a friend of mine. He claims that all these claims of finishing times only show when the strains finishes in Polen, Holland etc. Not up North where i live. EVEN though the seller claims that it will flower at September for example.

This for example: http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/the-church-feminised.html .

Im confused. Has anyone here grown anything like this up north? Is it possible?

Sweden will be probably tough for cannabis but if you force the plant to flower (making the days shorter by putting the plant indoors or in a dark room each 12h) to make the most of the short summer, it could work! Swiss and Danish genetics could be great too, resistance to low temperatures should be a must.

i doubt that they'll produce much of anything that high up north. i'd suggest you to go the nordic countries-subforum and ask there, at least the finns have outdoor-threads from the last 5 years so they can direct you to right direction. it's under national and other language forums if you've trouble finding it.

Well, damn. I have a few different Denmark- ish and Finnish seeds to choose from aswell. But the selection is verry limited and verry little information about them. Damns, wish i could grow anything that is well known & established.

Bamse92,

I am at 58N in sweden. Nordic Auto Flowers, and the Early strains.

HFH has some proven strains.

I am running some auto's this year. A LEB27 cross and Royal Dane.

Typhoon should do alright. Get more posts so we can PM!

You will either need a really early flowering plant, most likely specially bred for your climate, or an autoflower. There are nice new generation autoflowers now with more sativa influence so they grow a lot bigger while still finishing in time. Yields of 100+ gram have been gotten in greenhouses.
