It takes like ten years to start actually enjoying scotch. I prefer some oban or glenlevit

I'll second Oban for a good all around scotch, 'Laddy links series is great as well.

Any recommendations for something that is lower on the smoky peaty taste....Like my chivas...

I've tried a half dozen or so brands...and keep going back to my chivas....

Have you tried Auchentoshan? Lowland malt, very little peat, variety of interesting wood finishes plus its reasonably priced for a good quality single malt.
Lagavulin is like drinking a peat bog fire...

Auchentoshan..pretty sure yeah....tan shaped tube the scotch comes it...name reminds me of someone sneezing..it wasn't bad...but more expensive than my chivas and I prefered my chivas.
