if i just had the feria to set up a bad ass soil and easy to mix nutes/ph/ for my disabled veteran homie to take care of and we'd go halfzies till then that would be cool but as long as i'm growing i'm happy for now

yeah i understand , your just doing the best with what you have right now .
i wouldn't advise leaving them with someone who doesnt take it seriously just cause you run the risk of the other person exposing the plants to randoes and next thing you know they're gone .
if you have someone to go halfs with you id look into getting a tent .
you can order something like a 2x4x5 which is a solid size especially to start off .
you can go to Gotham Hydroponics @ Amazon.com: and get one for like 110.00 and you would really appreciate it .
throw a good light in it get some home-made co2 a brewin which is very cost effective and it will make a world of difference .

word , i'd honestly hit em 24hrs right now . especially sense theyre not in a tent and the light is 4 ft away .
if you made some home-made co2 they will start shooting up really quick

well i keep 3 windows cracked 3" each in the apt with fan on so do you think they get enough co2? they are close to the kitchen window one that is open
Seeds i got from Dutchseedbank.com were the smallest, most ugly seeds i have ever seen,
they sprouted without any problem, and are starting to grow.
i have a 400 watt black dog led light bank..
never done a soilless grow before... been doing much reading on the subject, bought good gear and hopefuly it will all come together.

so i bought a tent and hated it but to each their own. now i grow in my spare room seems most people i meet here in CO grow soil or at the very least cocoa cause they are tired of picking up hydro in stores the quality has def. become noticeable. if you go to walmart they have a florescent 12ft bulb for 10 bucks buy that take the bulb out and replace wt t5 MUCH better results

yeah i agree with scooby on the lights situation .
there is co2 in the air naturally , BUT plants love co2 so when you increase the levels it really makes a difference from my experience . great results !!

i don't have a credit card so can't shop online but i'll shop at my local garden shops next month for a veg liquid food

If they are less than 17-18 days hit em with 24 hrs then transition to the 18 on 6 off .
Look into that co2 also . Helps greatly

Afghan Haze, I'm a beginner to the growing but I was told not to use Miracle Grow soil. You should use Foxfarm soil.

Fox farm is always a safe route .
Black gold is really good too ,
But your gonna wanna mix things in such as perlite , rock dust etc .
For complete nurturing soil

They are about 6 days old. And I don't have a timer so they're going to be on 24hrs of light for now. i see new leaves coming out on 3 plants

There are lots of soils some are better than others but even back on Overgrow they had a tutorial I remember, soil vs hydro and the soil they used was non-organic Miracle Grow w/aquacoir and it did very well they said the taste was "so good"
