People fail to recognize that the government expects ~450,000 people to be registered with a LP under the MMPR by 2025.

Hey I expect to cash in big this year. Oh wait I expect that not that it will happen.

Even those that do brew-their-own often buy specialty product from commercial brewers, and as such there will always be a commercial industry- same goes for cannabis. Look how many people buy rather than grow nowadays.

You'd be surprised how many people brew their own been or wine.

I personally know close to 20 people who smoke on a daily basis and NONE of them care about buying mail order weed or even lift a finger to try and get prescribed. When they run out of weed that day they want now, when they run out of weed on Fri they want it Fri night. I talk to about 20-30 other people per day and maybe 2 of them will buy it just for some other strain other wise they will be keep growing their own of buy from someone they know will grow.

I am a med user that has no problem with the new system, the MMPR, if I were still working and had the money to spend. I have been forced by circumstances out of my control, onto a medical pension that is no where near the dollar value I thought I would be receiving and I'm a lucky one, because its a union not government pension. I think the MMPR is a fairly good program for those that can afford it. And letting groups other than just the Doctors sign for a prescription in the MMPR is really a big step forward(Nurses...etc.).

I just resent being excluded from using Medical MJ strictly because of a financial prejudice put forth by the federal government. I have been using and growing legal Medical MJ for 8 years, and as far as I am concerned it is because of patients such as myself and the patients that came before me, that has made the MMPR possible and possibly, the total legalization of Marijuana in the future(Phase 3).

BUT...We are the forgotten factor in the new MMPR equation(We are OG's...Original Growers...lol).

Why can't the MMAR (maybe with adjustments, for example...limit the number of lights allowed in a residential neighborhood etc., etc[if you want a 20 plus light show - get a warehouse in an industrial area])continue along with the MMPR and run together, concurrently, at the same time, this would make it fair for everyone involved. Like it has been stated, not everyone wants to grow there own Meds(its a lot of work). I would like the luxury of ordering, instead of growing if I were still working, but then again, I really enjoy growing. I liked the beer comparison...not everyone that can Brew beer, will Brew beer...My brother Brews, I don't, I buy, I find no enjoyment in the Brewing process and I'm sure there are many that feel the same about growing.

I have my fingers crossed that this is the findings of the courts...That both the MMAR and the MMPR run concurrently with each other in harmony.

As far as I'm concerned, the government of Canada just set the ball rolling towards full on legalization. The MMPR is simply a transitionary phase towards a full out regulated, commercial cannabis market in Canada.

Agreed, and that ball is a snowball on an mountain side. I honestly believe the projected number for 2025 will be accurate for actual medical users in Canada, not including any rec users hiding behind a medical document.

Do you really think it's possible that we haven't already collected, cataloged, characterized almost every single flavor/terpene class that exists in canna?

I've done literally countless hours of pro bono/ canna-charity work in countries all over the world. I've designed breeding programs (gratis) for breeders / competitors working CBD lines , donated excellent production clones to personal medical growers and DGs who supply hundreds of lbs to dispensaries all across the country. Why? Because I thought the patients deserved better than the shwagg they were offering. I only want to help further the species, and help the sick people that benefit from this wonderful plant and I've been doing exactly that since you, youngbuck, were in pre-school.

I don't speak of these actions and achievements because I don't need your idolatry, I don't need your kudos, I don't need you to know just how cool the things we're doing actually are, because I know how cool they are already... I'm not going to tip my hand to you or anyone for an ego boost. I know, because I know what's going on in Canada and elsewhere around the world, that we are doing things and growing on a scale you can't even begin to imagine.

at the end of the day this isn't rocket science, who ever hypes them selfs and their wares up the most is going to reap the rewards

in my experience i have found pot growers to be the most gullible stupid people around, just goto a grow store and see the prices of items and what people are willing to pay and water plants with

shelfs full of magic liquids with fancy labels for the price of gold

truth is if there wasn't demand those products wouldn't be on the shelf
a sure way to lose a customer is to try to sell them on a KISS nute program
if you aren't pushing or at least stocking the latest and greatest that they heard about its because you don't want them to succeed
seems its human nature to want to believe that some "magic" juice will make everything better
