We are at 2.5EC with the tap being about .6 EC and they are sucking up the dirty. Using about two heaping scoops of +life(the scoop that came with it) in the reservoirs when they are changed.

You should never have to feed your flowering plants an EC of 2.5! Thats nuts. That is probably why Veg+Bloom never worked well for us. We feed all other nute brands at 1.4-1.8 in flower.

To feed V+B to get to 2.5 you will literally be using cupfulls of the powder at a time if you have a good sized room and you should really calculate cost at that point. You're touching on Canna prices most likely or even higher.

Just my .02

We are paying something like 15 cents a gallon. each gram of bud is costing us like 4 cents in nutrient costs. I think canna is like $1.40 a gallon with boost and a friend of a friend who uses it isn't coming close to quality we are producing. Oh, and the veg+bloom is the easiest to use product as well imho.

No chance. You're paying way more than that.

The thing is if you use their directions on the container you end up with like 500ppm. You need to use 1400ppm to see results. The "cost" they tout is based on the recommended feedings.

This is based on our experience using "dirty" in a commercial grow.

Again. Just our .02

5-6 grams per gallon. super easy and produces dank.

Well let's be open and honest here. 5-6g of Dirty gets you to approximately 450ppm. So you're a bit full of shit in that regard.

Secondly, if you haven't admitted yet that you are working with V+B then you probably should. 90% of your posts are touting them so you're pretty obvious.

We are all here to share open and honest information to help each other grow. Try not to clutter the forum too much with dishonesty. lots of new people around here that might be on a budget.

You are obviously a hater bro, I pity your grow. Get over yourself. You have repeatedly been a downer in this thread. I get like 1.5 EC with 5 grams dirty. So what? OG Kush grown with 5 grams a gallon Dirty Veg+Bloom

Hmmm. When I first tried V+ B I mixed to ~ 1100ppm. These days I max at 900-1000, but only for one week

Would my buds be fatter if I went back up to 1100+? I doubt it. Certainly strain dependent. I could probably use another ~ 200w though. My set up allows me to feed every ~45 minutes for ~ 30 seconds

Plants are under 8 bulb hot5 using a mix of aquarium bulbs; 2 Florasuns + 1 Coral Wave + 2 UVL RedSuns + 3 Quantum Flower (2900)

I usually veg with an EC of 1.0, and 1.2 for a couple of heavy-feeding strains. Flowering is normally done with an EC of 1.6, and 1.8 for the piggy girls. 4.2 grams/gallon gives me an EC of 1.2 with my water and 5.8 grams/gallon gives me an EC of 1.6. A gallon of nutrient water at 1.6 costs 26 cents without shipping costs.

I can't say what is my EC when I dissolve 1.45g per liter,
but by my experience of using V+B, If I rise up to EC= 2.5, plants have stunned grow, and only when I was reduce the EC level to 1.5-1.7EC they come back to fast grow.

At this point I come to a conclusion what V+B need a lower level of nutrient solution than maxibloom, for example.

P.S. I use now V+B for soft\RO water
