I got started on overgrow. I learned bubbling buckets, mother plants, cloning, built a semi-stealth grow with perpetual 30 day harvest. learned to cure, and store it. learned about nutrients, and where to buy seeds. I grew some of the finest weed I have ever smoked(Northern Lights), and new where it came from. I really enjoyed growing..."marijuana is not addictive, but growing it is"... right... I miss it. I miss overgrow. This place is great though, and one can learn what they need here. I too wish I would have saved everything. I think I will wake and bake..

Though I think the Berkeley Macintosh User's Group was sort of a Cannabis Forum, 20 years ago.

I always thought Reaper was an american who moved to russia?Overgrow was ahead of its time,great site with some really good growers.
"Kong" wasn't a cut, it was a ultra hyped untested so called "strain" that cost $500 per 10 seeds! and was a scam instigated by low lifes who probably love the needle more than the jay...but as shitty, as long flowering and as low potency as it was (so the online reports mentioned) It was the best strain in world for instructing buyers and breeders that testing a new lot of seeds needs to be done before you start trying to sell, hype or desire it.
but even now you can still read "strain" reports (and I do use the term "strain" here really loosely) that state in the description that the strain " should" or " probably will" ..hmmm that's a screaming headline to avoid that untested pollen chuck.
Overgrow was wonderful in many ways, but it also attracted scum bags who's only way of doing things was as low as shark shit.

Ggw checking in... Still doing my thing.. Did a few strain reports back in the day argued endlessly about hortilux bulbs, followed yummybuds silly posts and generally had lots of fun... I'm kinda sad that my first online grow journal is forever lost.
