Des Tar Bx from Dynasty seeds, not the highest yielding strain but very frosty, and probably could have finished sooner than I took it down @ 65 days.

dried & cured pics

I separated the same 2 phenos of the Des*Tar Bx as pictured above for photography of final product. First pheno is of lower yeilding plant, with enlarged puffy style calyxes, smell and taste is still very nice. (I think this is "Pheno #3 as described by Dynasty Seeds)

Next pic is of much denser and higher yielding pheno:

(this is most likely "pheno #2" as described by dynasty seeds)

The Des Tar Bx is lookin' proper Avinash.. they look good for 65days of flowering.. I can't seem to ever grow anything that's done in under 70 days of flowering after flip starting from seed.. and that's sometimes even early lol.

anyways whats your thoughts on it so far?.. smell.. taste?

DEO, the des tar is def, NOT my fav strain for smoking from this harvest, its "in the jar" smell is so unique an very different from the ground up smell or the flavor of the smoke. smoke is sweet and light, tastes kinda like white grapes (thats unique eh?) and mabe a lil hint of some other fruitiness like pineapple or something, potent smoke just not as tasty as say an ECSD or the flo crosses. overall a good plant for growth, resin pack & bag appeal, just a very strange bag smell (jar smell). very green smelling even tho the cure is taking effect. almost a cabbage-y smell.
i have much higher hopes for the next dynasty seeds strains im growing, drizella (c99/white widow x c99/romlan) and a blue magoo bx from dynasty also (blue heron)

Thanks for sharing. Just on looks alone it didn't do much for me. It's interesting that you mention a cabbage/green smell. Since that was my first thought when looking at it. They can't all be winners :) Better luck on the next ones....

I'm flowering out some more Des* Tar bx, this time in organic soil. they are currently still in veg, will transplant into an organic soil mix made by Eureka Springs Organics, then begin feeding with teas around the time flowering begins.

Will be updating this thread with pics as the show gets going...

to be honest, i wasn't to thrilled at first. after a month cure the potency really surprised me. kinda fruity, floral tasting and smelling. good mold resistance outdoors to boot. i'll def. run her again.
