weird leaves claws upward

This is a heat issue, the leaves are taking too much heat and drying around their edges, lower temps by getting better ventilation and moving the plants away from lights.

ChinaKush,
I've seen plants do that and I don't think it's too serious. The leaves all look good. There is a phenomena called "praying for magnesium" in which leaves point upward. Do a little research on that. Marijuana plants in general and some strains in particular love Mg...so if you aren't supplementing, you probably should. Depends on how much is in your nutrients. I've grown a lot of White Widow and they are Mg hogs...so I used Epsom salts as preventative. 1/4 tsp/gal.

If it is affecting the top leaves only then the lamps are causing it, not all strains handle temperature the same. What grow medium are you using? What's the water pH and EC.? What type of nutes? Magnesium def/burn looks way different than this, also touch the curled edges and check if they feel more dry than the rest, if that is the case then it is a heat issue for sure, best of luck!

ChinaKush,
Troll King is correct. An actual well developed Mg deficiency shows yellowing of leaves between the veins...called interveinal chlorosis. But I understand that this "praying for mg" thing is an early symptom. I actually have never had it happen with one of my plants but people talk about it and it seems to be real. It was just a thought that I felt was worth exploring...

ChinaKush,
Wow, this new shot is completely different. Looks like it's clawing down? Did the plant change...or were my eyes deceiving me?

Downward clawing is often associated with excess N. Are you running maximum nute dosages?
