A 12v fan can use a 12v a/c adapter... the amperage of the adapter must exceed the total amperage of all fans used... fans are wired in parallel... not in series if multiples are used
Originally I was gonna use this beefy fella I found layin around inside a ps3... But the ps3 has specific requirements.... I'll have to solder together a pulse wave modulator with a potentiometer to run the 3rd "remote"-style line that controls fan speed....
I'd rather the fan be centrifugal... but an axial one will have to do for now.... 60 cfm aint bad for this lil box

Hey fellow minions, been trying to catch up before I start posting, but if I read correctly you can't do much until you hit your 50 post count, well here is number 1 and I am stoked to find my way back, life did not allow me to be around for a while, and when I was able to return I was completely blown away. I thank you again SG for the help on the path of this hobby. I am still running DarkLords and Goblin Queen from cuts, until I find better, it's worth watching for the herm and working with it. I have an male Overlord right now, that I have been thinking about crossing with the other two just to see what happens, still thinking about how I can make it happen.

Hey everybody. Wow, nice to see all the new blades swingin by. The more the merrier.
So i had on the agenda today a worm compost bin. For the bedding i put in layers egg crate, cardboard, shredded leaves, plain white paper, a lil bit of newspaper and finally a little bit of the alaskan ancient compost (just enough to give em some grit to work with. Because i live around a lake, red wigglers are plentiful. Is there a difference in quality of worms? I have some lettuce, peas, carrots, corn meal, coffee and tea grounds going in tomorrow to start breaking down. Heres a couple of pics. Tomorrow i am cleaning out my photobucket and will load step by step my $12 / 10 gal stackabe worm compost bin.
For a starter base, throw some old soil or 6" of peat moss.
Gives the worms a place to hang out until they make poopies.
Remember: No fats, oils, meat products.
Worms will eat most anything paper/cardboard, but love raw veggie scraps.
The better the food, the better the poopies.

Hey any one know why I can't see Buzzed Picts, they show up as a blue box with a ? In the middle of it, I see others picts, so I don't think it's the 50 post thing

I think it was probably easier to be catching up by just being able to read, as opposed to having to wait out the drive home. Looks as it was a wicked drive home SG. I can't imagine hauling that rig around for four days in and out of freaking snow. I drove from Philli PA to New Hampshire in a snow storm, stayed off the highways to keep me slowed down, what I long journey that was, cant fathom the trip you pulled off.
That's one of the mutants.

Hey Buzz, you can use any worms. I use regular earth worms and red wigglers, seems the red wigglers eat more tho. Hope that helps.
