@SG1: I feel really humbled how you welcomed me and liked my crosses so far! I think your Goblin Queen and Halo are extremely interesting plants.. Goblin Queen reminds me of the cut Deadman for some reason. Have you guys seen what RedEyedNReady of RedEyedGenetics, Alien Dawg of Cannafornia, and ICMag's own Relentless and oceangrownkush have been up to? Some really interesting stuff!

Goblin Queen is a great hybrid, but has defects that will not allow this specific line to go too much further.
50% of the seed sprouts into alien mutants that are useless, unless you got a freak show in a travelling circus.

I'm gonna pop 30 GQ seeds in a few days, and pheno hunt for a
winner.
I like the smoke a lot, but need to polish up the breeding.

Halo is nearly perfect, and never an issue.
By the time I back breed her 6 times, she'll be ready for the world.

I've heard and read of all those guys, just haven't studied their work.
I'll make a point to familiarize myself with them a bit more.
Always looking to add more knowledge to the ole grey matter.

Halo interests me more and more.. and this one shot of Goblin Queen I swore I thought was GG#4 because I had the glue thread in another tab at that time. I really think the Queen will rule with lethargic tyranny with more work to buff out the kinks, but I can't say anything about it personally. The way you describe Halo as the perfect 50/50 cannabis reminds me of my mentor's old cut Deadman {73' Afghan X 76' Oaxacan} which is also 50/50 in ratio though the parents being so so clean the high is so medicating, lasting, and pure. What kind of structure does the Halo sport usually? Only seed I have of Deadman at the moment is my Deadman X {{Dj Short's Blueberry X UW}'pheno T' X {Dj Short's Blueberry X UW}'pheno Z'} but I would like to spray silver on Deadman to make S1's, and try to source the parent of Deadman which is still floating around in some circles...Deadman is more expressing of the male used so I want to find a really good mom leaning female pheno and a really good male leaning pheno to hit onto the Deadman cut; stud expressing the 73' Affy hit to the original mom... then I work start finding the best specimens and see which ones compliment eachother. How long have you been growing Halo?

CBD Sweet & Sour White Widow#1(foreground), {Northern Lights#5 X Super Silver Haze X Malawi}(back left corner), Deadman X {{Dj Short's Blueberry X UW}'pheno T' X {Dj Short's Blueberry X UW}'pheno Z'}(right of the Malawi and dark, out of the 3 seeds of the cross I planted because the seeds were germinated inside of the calyxes, this was a very low yielding, dark plant with tight and glossy boutique flowers, my mentor said it's structure reminded him of the father he used to create Deadman. Due to it's yield I'm just saving this pheno for myself to pollinate while my mentor keeps flowering out the others that he enjoys ) I think this Deadman pheno was spiking up like that because it wanted more intense light, though I could be wrong. It was pretty peculiar with it's demands, an oddball for sure.

What kind of structure does the Halo sport usually? How long have you been growing Halo?

The original Halo was bred in 2009.
Small reg breeding for personal use.
Started with 3 females, 2 of which were what I call jungle weed sativa.
Very fast, explosive growth in veg, with a stretch after flip of about 3' Ooouch!
Heavy yield, good stone.
The keeper Halo I use and breed now, at first grow from seed was an excellent yielder with a dozen foot long spears of the most unique flavor and taste ever.
She doesn't crowd herself with excess leaf growth, and low maintenance.
Halo does extremely well outdoors and indoors was awesome.
Medium light feeder, and finished 9 weeks from flip.
Outdoors, on good years, done late sept, early oct.

Unfortunately, genetic drift has taken her glory, henceforth the Halo breeding project began to recover the genetics in seed form.
Halo is in nearly a flower state constantly now, even at 18/6.
Took cuts from a pre-flowing plant once, and can't reverse the flowering tendencies.

The halo is weird in that it is covered in female hairs even under 24hrs light. Almost like it is an auto, always on the verge of flower, even in veg. At least that is what I have observed.

Yes Sir, you are correct.
I'm using the original Halo cut for the breeding project.
No other human has the original Halo.

Overlord (Halo x Dark Queen)was the 1st Halo back breeding.
This breeding showed heavy Halo influence.
Dark queen male was 1/2 brother to Halo (same Purps mom) used to create Overlord.

Overlord male was taken back to Halo
This is Halo 2x.

I currently have 5 seeds growing of Halo 2x that should be all males (according to the seed selection chart we use).
The male that shows the most Halo structure and unique scent will be bred to my Halo cut.
In 4 months, Halo 3x seed will be around.
Then repeat until 6x is achieved, at that point the original cut will get tossed.

By then, full stabilization of the line, with all her unique qualities, will be nearly 100% intact.


Flavor and scents are very important to me.
I prefer the berry/grape tones the most, but enjoy all flavors and scents.

I have 2 black plastic flaps for light protection.



Running 3-1000wt on 240vt and 1-1000wt on 120vt.



I'll time the lights to share the summer heat, best as possible.
I'll make improvements as needed.
I can put in bigger exhaust fans if needed.

Been super busy with the garden. Has anyone gotten sativa dominate ravnus? I have 4 seedlings and 2 look indica dom but 2 of them are leaning towards the skinnier side. I will eventually 1 day upload pictures. Just curious though if there is any sativa in the original genetics?

Also popped 2 halo which look great.
2 DCD fems Thai accidentally made a while ago.
6 overlords
4 nocs
And 1 fem noc again accidentally made lol

Have 1 GG s1 in a cup to sprout but so far no go. Out of 3 only 1 sprouted and of course I was not able to get clones

Awsome! Ever since I got cotton candy and amnesia I've been on a heavy sativa kick. I was excited as hell to see my ravs leaning sativa. For some reason I though rav would be indica dom.:friends:
