There is an app that legit encrypts the content and the owner refused to allow the FBI access through programing. It is called Wickr, same features as snapchat with some others as well. It is nicer in my opinion and definitely safer.

If you take pics with a regular camera and not a phone, then you send pics thru a regular email account to your friend. Do you know how hard it is to actually prove the pics are yours and not something you "stole " from the internet. People get way to geeked out about this kinda stuff. Our gov't has way more priorities like intercepting terrorist communications, tracking child porn, and so on. Unless you have a warehouse with 100 lights and a sign that says " I sell to kids" I think we are all pretty much safe. Shit with the amount of states with medical and a couple with comepletly legal states, us fellows with normal size grows don't have a lot to worry about. Shit I live in a non-med state. Over the summer I got pulled over and the cops actually said, "we don't care if you have a little pot on you, we just want the pills and heroin out of our town.
