Great thread! I plan on acquiring some cbd strains in the near future for making oil.

I just tried smoking Harlequin for the first time. The strain I just grew that's about half cbd / half thc. It's weird. It looks awesome, smells awesome, tastes awesome. The high is different. I feel something strong in the background, a strong body feeling. I feel focused and sober at the same time.

This strain is supposed to be great for pain relief without getting too high. Something I could have used a couple years ago when I had two surgeries. I wonder if it really works. I should try doing something painful to try it out. :)

I´ve been thinking about giving up weed, at times it just makes me so anxious and paranoid but the alternative is opioids as cannabis really helps.

Constipated and drowsy or paranoid and anxious?

My point being: Maybe a higher CBD would help? Are there any more common strains with a higher THC/CBD ratio? Thanks.

Have you tried decarbed oil like qwiso or bho? Supposedly the more your decarb your oil the thc is converted to cbd

One of the Ladies in my MS community moved close and introduced herself around. She brought a Blue Moonshine and a Chocolope grew some nice plants. Then brought all the other ladies over to the house and the wife and showed how to make different kinds of edibles. 1/2 ounce of each with bud trimmings into a butter used to cook with. With this it will make about a dozen cupcakes or equivalent.

That cupcake last me about 8 to 10 hours makes the pain and the nerve spasms are almost gone. If I hit something while on the cupcakes it seems to intensify the feeling of both. It is not a head high but for me a pleasant euphoric feeling so much so I am attempting a block wall in he back of the house. I am not quick to get frustrated or angry by situation and pain. More willing to get out a see people and do things we have not have this tested it is working. I am becoming a believer in edibles as a more controlled way to medicate and longer lasting. We too are looking for more CBD strains.

I did a 9 hour flight and I hate flying, customs airports gates security all took on a
"peaceful easy feeling" and easy to carry too.

It increase memory LTP, reduces psychotic symptoms, lifts depression.

Back to THC bringing up things. I also believe this. It removes a censor from yourself, and people are afraid to see themselves. When your body brings up that your beliefs are transient and only what you feel now is you, and not your memory of yourself, people are left with feeling "not themselves" and can't let go. This is where most panic attacks come from. A shift in the self relating to fear. Fear isn't avoidance, fear is confronting. When you have nothing to confront but yourself, you can only learn about how your own fears are unreal, not you, and related to a learned memory.

These learned memories we store to protect ourselves. Some people these memories exist as in the back of their mind, like PTSD. By disconnecting ourselves for just a second, we're allowed to look at it as different.

You might say it disconnects you from fear, and that seeing it from a different perspective takes away the mental load and you can now process fear.

But then people whom are disconnected from the fears that protect them, like all these social rules and functions, their mind keeps telling them they're not meeting those functions because their mind is different now, and they freak out.

So it not only helps to develop and ego outside one's self, and this helps to process and for someone to cool down and see it differently.

It can also not be of help, because the people who rely on these social cues, and being themselves SO MUCH.....their remberance isn't there and the thing that keeps them feeling like themselves in a social setting is removed and the self is volitilized.

We are different because we want to unself ourselves (change perspective actually) to discover ourselves and how we work, but others HIDE themselves to be a connected part of the world in a social setting so much, that when their self is gone, they have no grounding. We enjoy ego loss and they love ego. Once "they" are gone, they can't see themselves.

They must define themselves as one, whole, and seamless like consciousness has seemingly told them their whole lives. We understand different perspectives, therefore we can become more. They disallow, distinguish anything that is a different perspective, because their current self is threatened and it further enforces the self instead, to try and protect.

Why does everyone confuse CBD and CBN, i see this shit daily on all the weed forums...
I remember it from CW and OG...

I believe there's a book printed that has that information incorrect and it's been quoted so many times people take it as truth. :)

Lots of little stupid things like that. You'll get tired of correcting people after a few years. Typing the same info over and over gets old. lol

got some 0.8% THC/ 18% CBD nugs to try out, stuff looks/smells like meh OD. also cannatonic, 4% THC/ 12% THC.

i ruined my test this morning when i forgot to not take a dab. my girl, who can't smoke bud cause it triggers her anxiety, tried some of the 18% CBD nearly no THC meds and said she just got a body buzz. pleasant.. no anxiety or anything. said she felt "relaxed and droopy, not like when i smoke bud normally. my head feels clear... like i'm not high but my body is."

Has anyone made hash oil with a high CBD strain? I'm using all my Harlequin trim to make a big batch of tincture. I still have a few ounces of bud. I'm thinking about using some to make a batch of high CBD oil.

I have a couple ounces of Harlequin I'll be turning into dry-ice hash and then doing an ethanol extraction on.

The oil from the bud will be turned into HAO and then into pills for myself. The trim and stems will be made into a topical of the same, probably with iso since it won't be eaten or smoked.

Let ya know how it turns out.
