We'll this sucks... The ballast I ordered from Amazon will not be coming. I just read an email saying that the ballast I bought is sold out. When I bought it they said there was 9 left and would be here today. Well it's not but thankfully they sent the bulb, which they still charged me for. It looks like back to Amazon and hoping it'll be here next week. FYI don't ever buy from Plug-n-Grow on Amazon. They'll sell you an item which they don't have in stock.

I went with the Solis-Tek and it was about $40 cheaper than the Galaxy. Another update I have found 2 more ladies today so that makes it 3 total so far. I'll snap a photo tomorrow when I feed them. Hopefully another female will be discovered.

So the girls are looking healthy still. I'm about to hit them with some PK and start adding in some Budswel. The Solis Tek should be coming by the end of next week hopefully. I'm thinking of getting a new reflector because the one I have now is a 6in and I need an 8in plus Sun Systems Blockbuster is on sale at my shop and works well in a 4x4 growing area. Here are a couple a pics I threw up the HB is the biggest one the rest are Ultra Sonja. I have some Bohdi gear coming Strange Brew and Jabbas Stash should be showing also in the next week or 2 with some other genetics.

Evening everyone! So I got a couple of deliveries today!!! First off after almost 3 weeks I finally have my 1000 ballast. I went with the Solis Tek adjustable watt and didn't get the built in timer. So I plugged that expensive piece of metal and I've come to another problem. The vortex fan isn't keeping the room temp down so it's at 86 degrees right now. I do have air coming in at about 68 degrees. I will give it a few more hours and see if the temp has dropped but I'm doubting it. I was wondering when I buy a new reflecto do you think going with an 8in would keep it cool than the 6in I have now. My vortex fan is an 8in and I just have a reducer on to 6in scrubbing the tent and then exiting.

Here is the intake coming into the room

Also here are the lovely ladies. The middle one didn't stretch much an I'm debating on culling her. On Thursday I'm going to go in there and prune some fan leafs it looks a little shaggy.

Last but not least my Bodhi gear I've been waiting for. I have 2 packs of the Strange Love and a pack of Blackberry Lotus and a pack of Silver Lotus. I'm also waiting for some more here hopefully in the next few days from Seedbay.

That's pretty much it. If anyone has any ideas on my heat problems please chime in anything helps.

Hey merrblah I'm exhausting it out of the tent into the room. I'm going to buy some more ducting and have it completely out the the room.

Seeingtjings, as of right now I'm digging the Solis Tek! It was a great deal and would definitely buy another one.

I was just in there after a few hours of letting it cool down and the temp was at 75 degrees with the tent being closed too! I'll continue to monitor the temp and I still want to get an 8in reflector because the one I have seems a little too small.

Exhausting out of the room will make all of the difference. Without getting the hot air out, you just have an expensive circulating fan. You can get away with this if the external room is large enough, but it is still inefficient.

Also, temperatures will be higher with the tent open -- the air will take the path of least resistance. In that case, air will be pulled from the exterior room at mid-point through the air filter and back outside. When the tent is closed, at least the air is forced to come from the bottom of the room and through the tent.

So just an update on the temp in the tent in the past 24 hours. It is maintaining a temp of 76-80 degrees with the lights on and 68 degrees with the light off. Since I've added the 1000w light the plants have been stretching like crazy so I've been bending them back under the screen so I have an eccentric canopy. I'll be back later this week with some picture updates.

Day 17 Of Flower

Day 17 Of Flower

Just a quick photo update. As you can see in some of the pictures I had to bend the plants to maintain an even canopy and that they don't get too close to the light. Temps have been ranging from 77-82 with the lights on and 68 with them off. Besides that these ladies have been easy to grow and seem to live off a rotting fruit smell. I thought the HB was giving off a skunk smell but within the past few days it has changes. I've been pruning fan leafs to make way for more light. I'll be back to update. Thanks

Sounds like ideal temperature conditions! Well done!

Where are your humidity levels at?

Interesting smells you're describing -- I couldn't tell if "rotting fruit" was a good or bad thing, but it would appear they have evolved past that so no need to further explain.

Looks like you have it all dialed in now, I'll just sit back and enjoy the show :joint:
These girls will be stacking up in no time!!

It averages between the mid 20's to the high 30's depending on the weather since I'm pulling air in from the outside.

Day 42 of 12/12

Day 42 of 12/12

Here is a quick update. I've been having trouble with the temp this week the tent has reached 88 a few times. I'm going to get a stronger fan to pull air from the outside to cool it down. Besides that they seem to be a sensitive when it comes to feeding I upped the ppms to 1300 and started to see a little burn on the tips. Currently it's at 1100 and slowly raising it before a flush in 3 weeks.

Sucks your having such a high male ratio.. I just hit 4 of 4 boys.. Thankfully I run a yard full of clones so I really wanted 1 or 2 to be boys so having 4 of 4 didn't hurt me..
Must be something in the water.. LOL

Nice canopy! Those are looking super fly!

88 won't hurt your plants. They look super happy and healthy. But if you are going for ideal, throw an equal size intake fan into the mix.

Good luck and rock on!
