MT you're exactly correct. I repotted in much smaller pots in straight happy frog and got the soil a little wet with a compost tea and within 6 hours they look like different plants. Almost amazing. I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow.

Just let them dry out for a little while and then only water when the pots are light or another method is to water when the soil on top is dry down an inch or so. I think most have had over/under watering issues when starting.
 
yup yup, I almost let them starve now, not really, but I feel like they use up all they can if you let the top dry out a bit and actually let it process what is in its container, re-water once you can noticeably feel a difference in pot weight. I give my 7.5g pots about 2-4 days between depending on how much i soak them. Def had the overwatering issue a few years back.
